For those that have been to the Pear Tree, what was it like? I’ve booked up next weekend to meet a few mates.

Also, can anyone recommend any other cafes or pubs with a good set-up in the city centre?🍻

Its really good

Temp taken at gate then hand sanitiser must be used. Table service through an app but drinks came quickly.they tell you 30 mins before your time is up but don't seem to be using the big screen.

Can I assume that if there was no one booked after your allotted time you can stay on?

Booked up for the Corn Exchange in a couple of weeks.  This weekend was already completely sold out when I looked Saturday morning past.

it good and very well organised, almost to the point of being too regimented.

£2.60 in Musselburgh

Although probably better sticking to town prices

All roads lead to Gorgie

I passed the Pear Tree today and it looked like there was no one over the age of 25 in the beer garden. If it is £4.90 for a Tennents  then I shudder to think what the more hipster friendly beers cost there.
