I'm stunned he was still alive. I thought he died about 20 years ago.

Your username, was that the amazing striker from championship manager 01/02?

Sign him at 16 and he would be banging in 35-40 goals a season not long after that

 Legendary.

Been looking into getting that game again. I know how to do, worried I'll become addicted again though 😂

I've had the same dilemma about every month for 20 years. I can't do it though. There would be no going back!

Must have been one of the last original shite Glesga Patter, Doon the Watter, Pure Gallus, Glesga Empire, Gaeity Theatre Ayr, Professional Weegies.

Only Tony Roper and Elaine C Smith to go.

Now You See It was so bad it was good though.

CostaJambo

Line 2, Position 1 - Deid

My mate's old man used to write the script for that show. They had to say "opening question" and avoid ones on birds cos old JB used to pronounce them furst and burd (not bursd).

He was he host of two live events that Hearts had at the old Odeon theatre, back in the 70s. I’m fairly sure the first one was a show to celebrate the club’s centenary, the other being a tribute to Jim Cruickshank.
Both events may have been organised by the Federation of Hearts Supporters Clubs, but I’m not sure.

Glasgow patter indeed, but not as irritating as the blue nosed Lex McLean, who used his support of Rangers as his stage and tv acts.

I remember McLean. An absolute arse.

Nothing better than a @neilnunb thread, telling us that someone has died.

I'm getting to that age where I'm just relieved it's not me 😀

Agree, lots of strong performances in a very good show.
