Has Robbie even started yet ? Are the players back yet?

Are we to believe in a couple of day Robbie has made a list and leaked the info to his pals ?

A lot of these are deals he was probably working on to bring in to United eg Nisbet from Pars if they sold Shankland, central midfielder from Well etc.

Pretty sure Neilson will have had a list of players he fancied for next season regardless of what club he was going to be managing.

Exactly. The fact he’s at hearts will no doubt mean the list will have changed a bit but he will know who’s out there and available.

Cheers Daza - I needed a happier thread after "refreshing" the big thread for 3 days.

Only 6 players that RN wants to go? - I am sure we could all list 10.

Most of info is known but interesting on Aston Villa, Arsenal loan and Well player.

Thanks as always - keep posting what you get - only the dafties will want to blame you when it doesnt all happen.

Aaron Hickey will almost certainly  join Manchester City in a permanent deal this window, with the option of loaning back for upto 18 months. The payment from Man City will be in installments and will include a 31% sell on clause to Hearts. Hearts will not pay any percent of his wage if he does return on loan. A left winger is also being looked at on loan from City.

Colin Doyle to leave soon.

Interest in John Souttar from Aston Villa, John McGinn has suggested that he is considered.

Michael Smith is in the thoughts of several english championship sides, aswell as Rangers.

Sam Nicholson desperate to come back to Hearts but has interest from Bristol City & Aberdeen.

Robbie has earmarked 6 current players he would like to move on, and is in discussion regarding a player from dunfermline and a loan signing from Arsenal.

3 ex players are currently out of contract and have offered to come back for little or no wages until January.

Keen on a central midfielder who is at Motherwell.

What a load of bunkum.

He wasn't at Hearts then. Smith & Berra were CB.

How can you not even be bothered to check that online?

I misread it, I thought he was talking about Smith having Eduoard in his pocket not Dikamona.

Get some French toast on the go with a nice cup of coffee mate.  Kids aren’t even up yet but it’s Derby day.  👍

OP includes players from Man City, Arsenal, Motherwell and what looks likely to be Kevin Nisbet.  The only ex-Hearts players linked in the OP are clearly stated as offering to come back to us rather than our scouts suggesting them.

Stop getting in the way of that drivel.

I'm not having a dig at the OP however I take everything I read on here with a pinch of salt these days, nobody is actually "ITK" which was proven on the big court case thread. Still interesting reading though.

Ffs, how can anyone tell what the judge was going to do.

I take it the transfer window will be extended for Championship and below clubs, as we don't start til mid-October; or is that something else we will be suing the SPFL for?

I don’t think there’s going to be a transfer window as such from now until at least January Colin.

How's the weather in the valleys today, Mr Pres'?

Get yourself outside, grab a few bottles of beer, roll yourself a fat banger, and find a stream or something to sit by for a bit.

Heard we’re after an Irish forward but has a bit of a playboy reputation.

Think it’s Shane Annigans?  Anyone else heard this?

He was being linked with Stoke after O'Neill went there so maybe its just the persistence of that? Not sure what other clubs - maybe Boro after Warnock went there if hes following Scottish football?

If we get a decent offer for Souttar then I would bite their hands off.
Injury prone and in all honesty, a bit overrated.

The Hickey deal would certainly be a good one if it comes to fruition.

Hopefully not. Boyce and Washington more than sufficient for the Championship.

Washington won’t be kicking about the Championship regardless of a mixed to poor season last.  Not a chance.

He may be injury prone, real shame if that continues.

He's not over rated tho, if anything underrated -he's far better than that McKenna for example.

He's also only 23, most Defenders don't get better until late 20's think for us the likes of Pressley and Zal.

I don't get the need for some Hearts fans to down play him tbh, if he remains injury prone then fair enough, but he can still be a good player for us in that case- think CL. If he stays fit for 2/3 seasons he'll move on. Either way it's a win/ win for us.

Ironically this covid break if it has any silver lining is that it has given Souttar a real rest with no time pressure to come back, might do him well long term.

Yeah, he’s definitely got time on his side to improve, providing he can stay fit.

Yeah, from a selfish point of view if he breaks down every so often then it means he will likely stay with us, I'm fine with that. But that's selfish as ****.

From the lads point of view, hopefully he kicks on, gets a good run and plays at a higher level later on.

He's 5x the player of guys like McKenna.

I reckon the 6 he wants to move on are:

Doyle

White/Garruccio

Lee

Damour

Uche

Washington

I forgot all about white..

So much sh!te in that squad.

I'd be glad to be shot of that lot, although I wouldn't mind Garuccio staying.

Hopefully they take the hint and go though..

It's gonna be another bit of busy transfer business taking place again.

We've gotta get it right at some point

Based on his last reign, I'm more confident in the calibre of player that Robbie's looks at than CL's.
