Kalamazoo Jambo
Coming to Disney+ tomorrow if you’re interested in the story of a ******* orphan, son of a whore and a Scotsman. It’s a filming of the Broadway production with the original cast. I’ve seen Hamilton twice in person (albeit not with the original cast) and there’s nothing else like it. Can’t wait. Kalamazoo Junior is also obsessed and has been counting the days. Interested to see how it will be received back across the pond

Especially as it’s been the top selling show in London for a couple of years.

Wasn’t meaning from a Nationalistic perspective, and was aware it was a West End hit, but more about how I haven’t seen much evidence that it is a ‘phenomenon’ in British culture, the way that it is in the US. The reach of TV/streaming compared to theatre should mean that the number of people who have actually ‘seen’ Hamilton will go up exponentially (in the US too) over the next few days. Carl Fredrickson
I only know of Hamilton from a work colleague who went to London to see it. It was on this morning as I worked and I really enjoyed.
