A lot of people connected to music reckon he kept a lot of his songs away from Motown as his contract he signed as a youngster was heavily weighted in the record companies direction so he didn’t record them until he got paid what he deserved from his music. I bought Talking Book and Innervisions a few years ago. Haven’t got SIKOL yet but will buy. I feel like I've slept on so much. I like to think I'm quite knowledgeable on my music too. And the song Uptight, I just realised he done when he was 16. ****ing SIXTEEN.
