3 point plan

Step 1 Don’t go to the game

Step 2 collect 25% of the profits from the 2 semi finals

Step 3 poetic justice

Maybe just give the cost of the ticket to FoH or Hearts, so the rest don’t get their cut of our ‘sales”.

The best two fingered salute we could give to the SFA is to win the Semi, then go on to win the Final.

That would be the sweetest victory of all

almost as good as 2006 and 2012. 👍

This could be the only Derby this season unless one of the cups throws draws the teams together.

Win the semi, stuff Celtic in the final then walk off the pit h and refuse to lift the cup.

I’d actually love Ann just to saunter up the stairs on her own and pick up the cup and descend the stairs without even glancing at the blazers.

Celtic could be faced with a run of festive fixture chaos if the SFA rubber-stamp plans to complete last season’s Scottish Cup before the end of the year.

Record Sport understands the governing body has drawn up provisional dates to squeeze the two outstanding semi finals as well as the traditional end of season showpiece into an already packed December schedule.

And that could leave the defending champions having to cram as many as ten games - including two potential European ties - into a punishing four week stretch ahead of a January 2 Old Firm showdown at Ibrox.

It’s expected the SFA will confirm the plan to play last season’s Covid-19 interrupted competition to a finish at Tuesday's AGM - with Neil Lennon’s side facing a last four showdown against Aberdeen and Edinburgh rivals Hearts and Hibs up against each other for a place in the final.

If we were playing any team but hibs I’d boycott it but I don’t want to give they weasels any additional benefit to reach a final.

As said previously the best was to get it up everyone is to just go & win the semi & the final. Imagine their rage at us chanting **** the SFA as we parade the cup.

If the game is going ahead, get to the game

Completely agree with the away game boycott (I've been doing that for the last 15 odd years anyway) but this is a different thing entirely.

We sell the c20k tickets allocated, cheer as we pump Hibs, then scoop our quarter share of the dough and the subsequent half share in the final.

We get a quarter share for the semi, regardless, so sell our allocation and it becomes a quarter of a larger amount.

Increase your FOH sub slightly, if you can and it feels right, and Hearts still benefit financially.

That's my plan. Certainly don't want our lads walking out for that semi without backing.

It's a fantastic opportunity to make it a Hampden treble against they feckers.

Who'd want to miss that or harm our chances of winning because the players haven't got us lads and lassies backing them to the hilt?

The whole thing is a farce to allow the Unwashed the Treble

They’ve just changed the rules to allow cup tied players to play for their new clubs, so two of the same cup competitions are played this season and all the rules are out the window when it suits them.

Total joke and will make it sweeter when we knock the wee team out at Hampden

As with everything else to do with Scottish football it's all about how it affects one of the arse-cheeks

Nothing is changing and if the events of this summer change nothing then Scottish football deserves it’s slow, painful, death.

Winnable imo

hibs would easily get their traditional Scottish cup slaughtering and then a tired celtic* focused on their tainted ten, although they’ll probably change the dates to suit them

Just to clarify : the SFA have confirmed start dates for pre season training for Champ clubs and season start dates for league games ?  And Hearts will get a minimum of 6 weeks "pre season" before the league starts - assuming we are still "relegated" ?

So Hibs get 3 months of competitive  match preparation and we get 2 weeks?

In fairness, the cup tie rule could've been just as beneficial for us. Imagine if Bobby was injured and Kelby Mason had to play in goals.

Having listened to Jason Leitch the other day there is no way this will played in front of a crowd. Maybe a restricted number at best

Gonna assume we'll be the Sunday.

Aberdeen fans always moaning about Sunday early kick offs, even though Saturday matches mean the only option is early or late matches. I really hope it's the Saturday.

Although the Sunday final can GTF.

European dates either side of the semi final weekend so if they want to schedule it in before 1st Oct then they'll have to assume Celtic and/or Aberdeen will be playing on the Thursday before - so they'll be the Sunday.

We'll have had a few diddy cup ties as well, might see us treat them different to the usual pre season friendlies.

Never realised that. Here's hoping. This will no doubt spark the start of the Murrayfield chat to hold the semi's on the same day like they did with the League Cup in 2018.

Better 2 fingered salute would be to play the youths, have no Hearts fans and devalue even more the tainted cup.

If Celtic were not in the semis do you still think this would be happening?

It will depend if Celtic qualify for Champs League or Europa League group stage. In the unlikely event that Celtic qualify for Champions League group stage and Aberdeen qualify for Europa League group stage, Celtic could have a game on 3rd November while Aberdeen will have a game on 29 Oct. So one of them will have 2 games in 48 hours.

There's no way fans will be at this match unless scattered. Absolute joke having to play this cup to a finish though. I wonder how many other countries will follow suit?? You're right, none.

I do not care a jot for this game and even the possibility of winning the trophy. The only way I would be content for us to play is if we are reinstated in the Premiership and therefore have  a fair chance of being ready for it. Otherwise we have to tell them to ram it.
