He said when he left that he wanted to end his career at Hearts.

I love players that look at us like a place to top up their pension plans.

They’re still due us for taking Brian Hamilton off them for £250k over 25 years ago 🤬. Scary how little money the clubs outside the OF have to spend on players.

Someone should have stuck the stick thing up his arse and moved him from behind.

Wouldn't like to know who was holding Pereiras rod, waving him about like a sparkler

According to pie and bovril he says it's a done deal on a 3 year playing/coaching deal

We’ve  just given our goalie coach a new deal.

Maybe Craig will coach the youngsters.

Thats how I see it, prehaps allows him to do more coaching badges before moving up.

Craig Gordon coming back would be a good move for both club and player

providing we don’t go over the top with length of contract as we all

No his injury problems

Out of Bobby and Doyle, I actually reckon Doyle is the safer one to keep. In no way am I suggesting he should be No. 1, but he has played at a decent level and is in and around the Irish national team also. You don't get into that for sentimental reasons. Bobby, I reckon still has aspirations of being a number 1, and is very erratic.

New No 1 (Id take Gordon), Stone & Doyle for me.

Yeah I'd tend to agree with that if truth be told, Doyle had a howler at Motherwell and was torn to bits for it, Bobby and Perreira made constant howlers and got more game time.

My best memory of Gordon in recent memory was the look on his puss after he brought down Callachan in the 4-0.
I’ll bet he’s never as big an arsehole to Celtic as he was to us if he ever plays against them again.

Malinga the Swinga

Is he better then what we have - Yes

Is he long term solution - 3 year max, then would need replaced.

If manager wants him and he is coming back on reduced wage, as per others, then take him.

A horrendous way to label any Hearts legend.

They have to do so many ours coaching while they do their badges I think. So makes sense.

I don't think young Harry Stone could ask for a better role model tbh, he'll get a good apprenticeship under Gordon and Gallagher.

Hearts legends don’t carry on the way him or Pressley did. Playing up to THEM!?! The biggest bunch of scum in this country? No legend here mate.

If he signs I guess I will.
I don’t have to like it though👍🏼

2/3 years then keeper coach. Harry Stone is his replacement, just needs time and experience.

Must have something about him as Watford and a few others were trying to sign him. He's only a kid though. He's a few years away from being a legitimate number 1 option I'd imagine.

Zlamal is a vastly superior goalkeeper to Colin Doyle. Bobby would be a fine No.2 to Gordon.

For non-footballing reasons we haven’t seen the best of Doyle. Bobby, IMO, has been a bombscare since Bayview, first time I saw him. Nothing has changed since.

I remember raging about Mahe signing from Celtic and within half an hour being won over. Previous clubs are not relevant and as soon as he wears our Jersey he will get my support

Excellent prospect. I thought we could have given him a chance earlier this year given the way the other keepers were performing.

Levein said in BBC podcast that we had tried to get him in Jan so would not be surprised.

We did but Stendel didn’t want him.

Haha that's certainly the cynic's way of viewing it... The glass half full way is that it is sentimentality, so hopefully at a reasonable wage

Wasn’t happy with what Celtic offered him so you’d imagine we’d be offering considerably less.
Maybe the coaching things makes it different but Gallacher has just signed a new deal too🤷🏽‍♂️

First Neilson now this Gordon pish and we gave Gallagher a new one year deal!? He should've been punted along with all the rest of them. No coincidence that Zlamal, Doyle and Perreira were as hopeless as they were if he was coaching them! A nothing goalie throughout his career. The news so far is hardly inspiring!

To be fair I don’t have an issue with Stendel not wanting someone, I Completely disagree with him but he’s paid to make those decisions. Imo with gorgon in goals we would have had more points.
