I see Buffon has signed on at Juventus for another year aged 42. Surely Italy's top club could have got someone younger.

Pretty sure they could have signed any keeper on the planet if they wanted to.

Find it hilarious that the best Premier League save ever was in a game between a League 1 team and a soon to be League 2 team. How times have changed.

True enough, bud. Both clubs in a hell of a state. One season, even a pld 38 won 0 drawn 0 lost 38 points 0, in the EPL would set Hearts up for a generation.

At least.

😂 While the guy next to him is saying. "Yeah, they nicked Robbie Neilson off D Utd and Craig Gordon off Celtic. Then they only went and won their court case..."

I've still no idea how he got to that, it didn't look possible to save.

The context of the save, also.

Well ahead the lost late goals the that save at the death to prevent a draw.

Hopr my memory isn't playing tricks. The game finished 3-2, aye?

Imagine the cup proceeds, hearts obviously pump the vermin in the semi and then face Celtic in the final. It goes to pens and Gordon makes the save that wins the cup. Ooft. 😂

Delighted to have him back as this strengthens our weakest position last season.

Best player we have produced in my lifetime and still a few years left in him.

Lots of tears and snotters and whining about ffp and "hertz cheatun again" over on hibs.nut. The sound of scuttling is deafening.

Kept us going towards the club record equaling 8 league wins in a row from the start of a season.

Ironically enough, we had a chairman from Russia the first time too. Elias Furst?

If only Romanov had kept his vanity at home, who knows what Hearts could have achieved that season.

Magic!  Hope we sign a few more out of our budget range players and staff soon.  They need something to keep their spirits up.

I thought our weakest position and has been for years was midfield.

Really hope this doesn't go the same way as Berra.

If we can move on Zlamal and Doyle might as well bring back Jamie Macdonald to compete for the jersey.

3 fantastic saves from Jamie today.

He was outstanding today. He's always been a great shotstopper. A very underrated goalkeeper.

Good shot stopper when he didnt push the ball out to oncoming players but no denying he is a good keeper.

A very capable goalkeeper. When he was here, I remember him getting g criticised for losing A goal because he seemed to lose where his goal was -mace it easy for the forward. And that is it. I can't remember him ever throwing one in

It was a boy running through, one on one. And most of the goal wad exposed cos Jamie went went too far left or right. It was harsh but prob betrays TBE standards he set

Салатные палочки

Won us the LC Halloween game at Easter Road. Hibs pummelled us first half and Jamie was saving everything thrown at him.

Not a bad keeper at all. Not as good as Gordon who has been left exposed by our shocking defence all season.
