Guess the Premier League forgot to mention its latest Covid-19 precaution... the ball has to be at least 2m over the line for it to count...

No goal surely.

Must hit back of net.

Inconclusive tbh. Have to err on the side of caution - no goal. 👍

Watched the first ten mins. Couldnt be arsed with it. As Bill Shankly said football without fans is nothing. All done for tv money.

I know what you mean as I couldn't watch the German games for much more than 10mins. This is slightly better though, maybe because it's a more familiar league.

Global laughing stock

Nah, the keeper has to be 2m over the line now, apparently.

"Football isn't the same without fans"

Says every armchair EPL fan boy.

It's just a crap game & Villa have been crap all season.

The Augsburg game at the weekend was way better, crowds or not.

We should have been doing this.

Said that to my son but we have clowns that run our game, corrupt , hopeless, thick, and not interested in solving

a bad situation.

Norwich City can confirm that the club have been granted permission by the Premier League for the first team player who initially tested positive for COVID-19 to return to team training.

The player in question, Marco Stiepermann, who is now happy to be named, has remained asymptomatic throughout.

After being informed of the positive test result on Friday evening, the player immediately followed the appropriate isolation procedure as detailed in the Premier League protocol.

Whilst in self-isolation in his own home, Stiepermann has since taken two further tests, with both returning negative results.

Following dialogue between the club and the Premier League, permission has been granted for Stiepermann to return to group training at the Lotus Training Centre on Thursday.

Hopefully the Southampton players give him all the space he wants on Friday. 😀

Sheffield United go 6th.

Aston Villa stay in the relegation places.

Got to laugh at the goal though. All that money spent on getting back playing.

Commentators even less willing to shut up for a few seconds in the absence of crowd noise. Think I might watch it as if I  was there ... In silence.

Since all the players are called Black Lives Matter according to their shirts they could at least do more name recognition.

Welcome to mid-table obscurity, Arsenal.

Better next season.

Luiz is being released. Not taking up option.
