With being out of work at the moment was thinking of going

with a group of four to ascot on Wednesday leaving tomorrow and

booking a travel lodge half way down to split the journey does

anyone think there will be any problem regarding travel restrictions

crossing the border any advice gratefully appreciated

Can’t answer tonight, sorry.

I’m out of breath reading your post.

There is a horse called Comma in the 3.45 race though.

You want to make the journey down to Ascot so that you can watch the horse racing on the tv?

Am I missing some joke here?

Apart from the horse ‘Comma’ in the 3.45, he’s got a tenner on ‘Troll’ in the 4.15.

I wish them both well.

Not going now didn’t realise horse 🐎 racing is not

allowing spectators and also no acommodation or

overnight stays allowed in England

Yeah although lockdown is easing faster in England compared to Scotland and Wales there are still lots of restrictions so Ascot will be on but without spectators. Social distancing and all that.

I would be quite interested to learn if this horse full stop won the race at 15.10 at ascot today and if it did I would like to know what starting price it was as I like to know about things like that as I am a bit of a gambler and also like to watch racing on the television in a hotel that is not yet opened thank you for any information you can give me cheers

Right as rain here, Marv.  Thanks for asking.

More importantly, how are you, after your operation?

A lot better. I'm trying not to itch my scar as its still quite tender, but I've got a month off work to recover and I go back for a follow up appointment in August. So all good really. Thanks for asking.
