I'd still rather be in our shoes, Crete. Our finances, future and care is in safe hands.

Hibs are at one man's mercy, naked and ready for a pumping.

Hibs.net is a real hoot. Each trying to out do each other in making out this is all fine. Right thing to do and how other clubs are really worse off then them ( honest ). Why are other clubs getting new players and yet they had reserves at last accounts but are not signing anyone. One guy trying to work out why they voted to end the league, when they had a chance to gain a place on St J costing them £130K. With fans threatening to return season books and not renewing would that have cost them more than £130 K?

They really did think Ron the Conn was going to splash millions on them making them challengers for the top spot!

at least they have 2 full house Derby’s to look forward to next season....... oh wait a minute

Didn't take enough time to find the best way forward!      It seemed pretty clear that deferred wages was not a solution but just kicking the can down the road - lacked the courage to do the right thing at the time basically.    Double whammy now - need to make real reduction against wages AND pay the deferred wages back.   Oh Hibs,  you are my guilty pleasure!

Only going to have first team players and a few coaches.

They really haven't got a clue. They have just paid off a host of backroom and academy staff and are now speculating who they will be bringing in to do these jobs!

They are in for a huge reality check, Ron will start selling of their "assets" very shortly. Kamberi and Boyle will be first to go, they have no others on the playing staff. Don`t be surprised to see Dempster away shortly aswell.

Dempster will be on a fair whack too. Probably replaced by someone else already on his pay roll. Doubt if many will be buying players at the level Kamberi and Boyle are at if the OF don’t want them,  there’s plenty going around for free.

Oh it’s still funny. A very nice birthday present infact 😁 🍺

We will be absolutely fine, however this plays out.

Hubz are at the mercy of Peruvian Ron.

In a year, their tinpot fan group is raking in less than FoH does in a month.

They acted like billy big baws with the wage deferrals back at the start of the pandemic and their fans and ex players revelled in what we then knew was a shrewd business decision by AB to enforce wage cuts.

They accepted the SPFLs sham, rushed initial proposal and as a result, dropped down a place, losing over £100k. Just to spite us.

15% of their fans have asked for ST refunds (which despite being in the midst of a pandemic, is IMO, embarrassing) - that’s another £150-200k.

They are a joke. We know it. They should know it.

But they are blissfully ignorant and even when they Inevitably get into further financial difficulty in the coming weeks and months, with no fans being allowed into games, they will still cling to their ‘hertz are doon’ mantra to help get them through what will hopefully be an implosion of epic proportions 🎉 🎈🇱🇻

It just goes to show you the right call isn't always the easiest.

Ann made a tough call early doors and was met with condemnation across the Scottish footballing community. We're now seeing how short sighted deferrals were. However, due to the actions of clubs like Hibs we face an extra 3 months of this at a time where everyone is struggling.

The self interest of these clubs is utterly despicable and vile as there is a human cost to this. Hibs themselves have had to let Nish and a couple other coaches go. This will be happening across Scottish football and the three clubs whom the majority elected to victimise when there was no need to will likely face further redundancies when there was a way out to ensure that every club was given every chance to avoid being penalised by Covid-19.

14-10-10-10 ensured there was no losers. They've voted to ensure there was losers and considering the lengthy wait we have to endure before football can get started back up for us resources are only going to get tighter.

Utterly detestable and maybe now they'll have some idea of what they are subjecting Hearts, Partick Thistle and Stranraer to for no reason.

They were literally laughing at us a couple of days ago saying we were a bunch of charity cases always having to scrape together to save our club.  Now they are scrambling trying to get as much people to donate to their pitiful HSL as much as they can.  If the 15% who took their season ticket money back then donate to HSL does that count as if nothing happened???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂

Big Ron has blatantly told them you better pony up pronto I’m here to make money off you not donate any.  He’s already sacking folk left right and centre.  I’m really beginning to like this guy 👍👍👍👍😂😂

Regardless on RonCons intentions before Covid, this is a clear indication he's not keen on putting any money in for anything.

Dont know what his business is but could the cut backs and lack of investment, point towards troubled businesses?

They pledged no players in until the defferals are paid up. And it looks like they have to sell their 'star' players in a distressed market to cover the shortfall.

No decent players, none coming in

No investment

Heavily reduced income

Higher than mosts expenses

Tightwad fans

The picture is gloriously gloomy. God I'd love a wee peek at there financials to see just how ugly it really is.

Best case we take millions of the SPFL members, worst case we play championship football from October. We are sound financially, we will sell 12000+ season tickets and will still be here in a years time.

They didn't pledge no new players until the wages were paid up. They pledged no new players until the current ones had been returned to their full salaries. There is a difference there. But...that won't happen now either.
