They have had a bit of a resurgence, but ultimately too many will (rightly) hold off because they simply don’t know what Ron is planning. The money could very easily just be taken out of the club. 600 brave souls so far...

Even before C19 hit, the whole thing stank to high heaven. Since his infamous “pony up” comment, and the floating charges he slapped over everything they own, it all looked wonkier than Wonky McWonkster - the third Earl of Wonkerton, with his one leg shorter than the other. Ron’s cutting about East Lothian chaining up gates, and firing P45s out like confetti, while the Hibs support are now having a whip around to buy him a new dinghy.

To paraphrase a great band of old: “it’s all too beautiful”. 🐴⬆️

The funny thing is,  they weren't just gloating at our situation but GENUINELY believing that they are becoming Edinburgh biggest club.    They never understood CL's 'natural order' comment.   Most of them don't know that we've won 50% more derbies than them including winning more games than them at Easter Road FFS!  They think they have class! They just don't get the situation or see the underlying gulf between the teams.  And in our darkest hour, here they are, again, Hibsing it and their own ignorance is crashing down on top of them.    FTH!

What's this week going to bring then?  Hearts reinstated and Hibs into admin... wishful thinking probably but how good would that be eh?

We had to pay back Budge £2.5 million, which took us a few years but that's because we were also contributing the monthly upkeep of the club.

Hibs are looking to do the same but are needing at least about £6 million for Ron to consider handing control over. Is that right? That could take them decades at this rate. Especially if the any money now donated is only going to cover some of the deferrals.

I told Hibbies at the time that deferrals was not the way forward, and got called a slaver.

Had it checked by another player and it’s true.

I got told Barry Anderson was sitting on a bad news story re Hibs 9 days ago. Why the f@@k is he still sitting on it 🙁

Didn't SJ mention on the big thread, the night before the indicative vote, something about a journalist working on a story about a falling out between Ron the con and Leanne

I was told last weekend by a hibby that Leeann wanted to vote yes in the original vote but was told to vote no by Ron - she had to call Ann and apologise.

Ron saying that he thinks players will agree new cuts as they were supportive of wage deferrals.

Also says that he is sure they will sign new players.

It sounds either he is deluding himself or more likely the Hibs fans

Deferred wages now leading to wage cuts if players agree but Ron the Con saying Jack Dross can still make signings. Sure those muppets on Flump. Net will believe him tho.

This has got Riccarton 3 written all over it

The Con is bound to blame Gray etc for holding up any possibilities of signing players. I look forward to the Hibs fans throwing a scottish cup legend under the bus.

I will give him credit where its due he says most clubs will lose 50% of their revenue he did however miss one fact Hearts deficit will be covered fairly soon when the SPFL buckle and give us a payout.

This is all chugging along nicely. The last Derby at ER is going to be the last one for a long time and I dont mean because Hearts will be languishing.

Some times you have to take one step back to take three steps forward.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned. News on the player Nisbet going around is we are in poll position. Hubs can’t afford him. I believe “priced out” was the term used. I just love the idea of them lot clinging to this fantasy of us going bust only for us to buy a player they desperately want! On top paying compo for a new manager potentially signing an international keeper then cleaning out the spfl in court! Ohhh the rage from down lockend! Delicious! 🤣

Making cuts and vowing to sign new players. Isn’t that unethical?  What about that Tam McManus? It should be all over the press, except they are too busy attacking Hearts.

Ha!  More unrest with the players then.   So effectively they will feel they are taking a pay cut to help fund new players (thought it was about survival) that might oust them from the 1st team and impact their own careers.    Love it!   There may be trouble head...........

Has Fraser Wishart made an appearance yet?   Job losses on mass across a number of clubs, young players impacted by Hibs who are also looking to make new signings,  yet when we talked about reductions we were the bad guys?

Exactly and players coming in you cant imagine are going to be of any quality if the wages are going to be reflective of the wages players are being ask to cut down to.I can see Hi s finishing bottom , Ross is not a good manager he had an intial bounce but after that they were woeful.

It may depend how other clubs recruit. When both Motherwell and Kilmarnock are chasing Scott Fox, a goalkeeper whose mistakes rival Peiras, (and Motherwell signed) you know clubs are scraping the barrel

A Hibby at work told me 2 weeks ago that they were in great shape financially and that they were going to make a few shrewd signings.  Apparently we were on the verge of going into administration even prior to us being 'expelled' from the premiership.  He said we have too many players and can't afford the wages we're giving to Naismith, Boyce etc.  Also says we should 100% be relegated despite the league being called with 8 games left.  He's been on holiday since then so I've not seen him.  Cannae wait to hear what he's got to say later this week.  You couldnae make it up with these welts.  I love how when things look grim for us Hibs cheers us up.  Things are starting to look up for us now and Robbie will hopefully steady the ship.  Jack Ross is staring at a mutiny on his.  Lovely!

Some wonderful play on words in all of that.  Read between the lines and the glib  vocabulary and there is obviously some sort of financial problem down there.  I wonder if the down turn has hit Ron’s other business interests hard and he’s looking for ways to discard them after taking what he can out of them.  The coming season may well be something of a disaster for them in more than one way.

Wouldn’t be surprised COVID-19 is affecting economies across the globe. Similar to Vlad and the global financial crisis.

Certainly my thoughts. I suspect we will see a few high profile leavers from their squad. I would think there will be a fair amount of anger among their squad at having had their wages deferred and now being told that they will have to take a wage cut. They must feel that they have been taken for mugs.

I seen a bit of his interview yesterday and he couldn't stop using the word 'think'.

He ain't got a clue what's going on or he's not interested. I'm going with the latter!

dont  post much on JKB, and apologies if been posted before, i got told by a Hobo who has been made redundant from the academy, the first team playing budget over there has been cut from £3.8million per season to just £1.6million. he was also told that they couldn't tell him when or if he would be employed again. Not claiming to be ITK, but guy was 100% positive.

£1.6M? If true 🤣

Is that not about what Hamilton's budget is?
