New Edinburgh Derby Video In The Pipeline

Hi Everyone,

 

Over the past couple of weeks I have been working away on getting clips from derby matches dating back to 1983 to create a new video that will not only celebrate some great goals but also red cards, funny moments, interviews and great saves from this fixture.

 

I am going to use this first post to list SOME of the moments that will be included in the video (not goal related) to gauge what interest there will be in seeing a video like this being created.

Given my shortlist is currently 220 clips long there is a lot still do before a finished product will be available to watch.

 

So please when you have time read this 1st thread and provide some feedback on moments you want to see included or your reaction to some already in my list.

You'll need to post no. 16 on Twitter and tag the little tramp in on it. He talks up his career if he was some sort of legend. 

 

I looked up his career as could scarcely remember him getting much game time. He spent about double the amount of time at Hibs as Kevin McKenna at Hearts. They both accrued a similar amount of appearances but McKenna scored more goals! 😄 

 

Regarding no. 19, did that challenge finish his Hibs career? I recall the incident at the time (in front of the old family enclosure IIRC) and sure he went off with a broken collarbone.

Was an absolute ****er of a challenge. Yeah, broke his collar bone on the advertising hoardings I think. Can’t remember much about him after that. If he did play for Hibs again, I don’t think it was to any great standard. O’Neil was a good player sadly. I was glad to see the back of him, but wouldn’t have admitted as much at the time. No Colin Cameron or Paul Hartley, but a good player nonetheless. Nae luck John.

I recall him it Gretna a few years later. Not 100% but think he may have been there when they got to the final.
