skwif1
In the BBC news feed to my phone in the football gossip tab on Saturday, it says that ALL of next seasons games between the butt cheeks will be played in 2021 so they won't be played without the stadiums being full of mingers. They dont want the games played behind closed doors (also reported the Sun). Who is dictating this gerrymandering crap, and who at the top will sanction this nonsense. Why are empty grounds bad for them and not for everybody else.
kila
We should all get a cut of their ticket revenue if the SPFL do that for them.
part_time_jambo
So they will all be played from January, and they are not allowed to have a title decider. Kind of condenses it to a short window. Just make them play each other 4 games in a row and get it over with.
doctor jambo
If any game SHOULD be played behind closed doors, it is those ones. For the sake of society, play them all at the start of the season back-to-back, then, if the season is unable to finnish again, whoever has a higher points average should be awarded the title
trotter
Other than the whole cutting off your nose to spite your face thing. Is there any reason we cannot cut their allocation to the same percentage that we get through there?

Wait until we open it all back up again. Look at the care home death % and then revisit your assumption. 54% of deaths last week were in care homes. If, big if, we get a grip of care homes our figures look low, especialy right now. It looks as if the general population for whatever reason are doing better than expected. Because, by and large, the majority of the population were un-Dom-like during lockdown. Opening up the country will spread infection and, it's particularly next winter, when the idiots in charge of Championship clubs think they'll get started, we'll see the worst of it, unless viable vaccine generally available for us and not just the elite. This one doesn't appear to be seasonal, temp not a big issue. Will take months to get to the norm but we are better prepared in every respect for a 2nd wave. Even more so when you consider how badly this time was handled at the start.

If you get a chance go and look for pictures of the Malaysian clothing shop that hasnt had any power /air con for past 30 days. Look at the state of its shop and tell me we are not all manky barstewards. Until there is a vaccine for this virus we all need to learn to live in a new world

It's a disgrace! And the argument that, if you stopped buying that product these folks would have nothing is morally and ethically bankrupt. Up the wages and improve conditions and we pay more.
