On first sight I wasn’t overwhelmed but I’m the more I look at it the more I like it. I like the gold & the cut and shape of the Umbro kits has always been good.

maroon home, black 3rd means the away shirt will have to be pretty light colour. I’d guess white but wouldn’t be surprised at a light blue.

I’m not usually a fan of gold on the kits but I like that. Will be pre-ordering for Zico Jnr.

but it also points out that there are many variations of a maroon kit. Contrary to your first comment. Whether someone likes them or not is a matter of opinion.

All the mockups were shite this year. IMO

The Natural Order

The yellow stripe should be up the back. Umbro have hibsed this one big time. What a feking mess.

The White Cockade

Not bad

All maroon would have been great

but don’t like the yellow/gold at all

Like that, the gold (the pics make it look lighter) on the sleeves works really well imo. Breaks up the plain maroon and is obviously taken from the badge which ties in nicely. Suspect this will sell well.

Not sure what people expect tbh, when every year they say they want the home top to be nice and simple. Not a lot for Umbro and Hearts to work with.

Not read any further than the page with the first pic of the top, but going by the tag line "all in maroon" I take it we are going with maroon shorts and socks?

Nah, I thought that would be the case but it's white shorts with maroon piping

👍

No gold/yellow worked into the shorts then? Should really go onto the Hearts page and look but I'm a lazy bast**d!

Quite nice.

For the planks mentioning Motherwell yellow. Their colours are claret and amber. Amber, not yellow.

So do your feckin homework.

Lesson over.

Gold not yellow.

It has a white colour on the top...and white shorts as well will be part of the overall kit

You do know that the yellow/gold is part of our badge ?

Doesn’t mean gold/yellow should be part of our strip IMO.

The socks would fine for a Motherwell strip!

It is OK,  but less keen on the socks and shorts, not that I buy them.

I guess we do have to change it, to sell more.    £50.00 is rather dear though.

Probably still order it.

Still looks yellow on their strips - even a “plank” can see that!

Hibs fans telling me it's hideous so that's a fairly objective sign that it's a good kit.

It's actually a no bad looking kit on reflection. Tell you what though it's a ****ing hundred times better looking than the kit that lot are punting next season. Not even an nhs transfer can save that effort

Hibs play in the same kits as my kids team but a different colour. The tracksuits last season were the exact same template but with a Hibs badge on it.

Save the pies?

That pies logo would fit nicely where the save the children circular graphic is.

Then swap children with pies and it's a winner.

Go on then @Homme:

In comparison to other clubs kits, it's a great strip.

In comparison to other Hearts kits, it's pretty bland and average.

Flow State

The fact its maroon saves this for me.

So basic.

Never hate home kits, we are lucky to play in such a glorious colour.

Liking the shorts-looks like the pony era kit which is always a good thing. Bring back strongbow next!👊🏼

True

I just think back to some of the horrific, non Hearts, strips that plagued us in the 80s.

Simple is good for me, but everyone has their own preference.

Absolutely. This new one might not be anything special but weve had a lot worse 😂
