They've always had green away tops.

"The red, white and teal has been a traditional colour combination for Liverpool over the years, particularly as it relates to the traditional club crest. The teal holds a further symbolic connection to the city of Liverpool through the Liver Birds that look over the city and have been a prominent fixture on the Liverpool jersey since the club formed in 1892."

" We wanted to bring the teal through in a really interesting and subtle way to nod to the references, but were also mindful that we didn’t want to play around too much with additional colours in order to keep the focus on the red."

Fair enough

I think I've been used to their away shirts being white, and their third shirts being some minging Black or Purple patterned design in recent years.

It looks alright actually!

Obviously a generational thing as I always think about Liverpool 2nd strips being yellow.

Yeah, in the mid 70's to mid 80s they pretty much always had a yellow away kit.

Only since the 90's have they worn a teal colour kit and they've had quite a few. Seemed to coincide when they adopted their more modern crest.

Liverpool's badge has just as much teal as it does red. It's been a secondary colour for them for decades.

Not true. The teal tints only appeared in the 80's and as an away strip in the 90's.  For years the away strip was white with red trim black shorts white socks. Yes the Liver bird has been done with a green twig in it's beak by that might have been oxidisation of the metal rather than the creator making it green.

That's interesting, most of the yellow away kits where before my time but I've always thought of Liverpool's change kit as yellow too.

That's not the same kit.

Similar, but not the same.

Different collar, different cuffs, different material, different construction and most importantly, a totally different template.

The raglan sleeves on the Kaizer Chiefs kit is a dead giveaway. They're using an older Nike template. The Barca one is brand new Vaporknit template for this season. Same as the new Liverpool home kit.

That's quite nice but more of a fashion item than a football kit. Imagine if it was a Hearts kit, people on here would freak out as the pattern has nothing to do with Hearts, why can't we have plain maroon and white, what a lazy effort etc etc.

I'm usually a big fan of purple & orange together (We're the only undefeated team left in the NBA bubble, **** the haters) but this is absolutely rank.

Adding insult to injury is that Premiership sleeve badge. Black writing on on purple...Whose idea was that?

Absolutely atrocious... Whoever thought that stopping the stripes 80% of the way up the top was a good design should be taken out back and shot.

It almost works for the black Third kit, but having the same template for each one is just sheer laziness.

They do have red shorts and socks.

Did you think they're gonna play in black jeans or kahki shorts?😆

They're just modelling the shirt the way most fans would wear it.

this guy had the right idea. Not too fond of a collar. Especially if it's a different colour to the shirt.

Nike have upped their game a touch now as for years their efforts were poor. Especially the England ones. The kit would still look better without the sponsorship.

Brora have a nice colour and one of the better looking Macron kits.

Ignoring the typical of all sports teams black and white, what do folk see our 2nd colour as? Blue (Azure/Scotland flag colour) or yellow/gold?

I'd like to see more gold used, something different to the typical Scottish team wearing blue, and to me folk that greet about Motherwell already using it are up there with the "no team huddles cos Celtic do it" levels of ridiculousness.
