As a pundit Stewarts ok, just needs to get over the " worst £1 spent" comment.

Turns into a rabid when it comes to CL, but on other matters is good to listen to.

Playing wise-

Cl was a great player and managed us twice, was dof and spent 20 ish years with us.

Mikey played about a season and also played for Hibs.

Folk can make their own mind up who us the PHM out of the 2 of them.

I like him because I can't recall him saying "this moment in time " yet anyway. McCoist Sutton and W Millar the worst. Look, you know what, I really do think they should learn some new words, Ah really really do . Drives me F***** Nuts

I'm still annoyed at CL for the 2017-20 period but he does effortlessly come out on top vs. Michael Stewart.

The latter still has steam coming out of his ears whereas I get the impression that CL is unperturbed and quite laid back about their differences. Content to just sit back and let MS wind himself up.

I loved CL as a player and first time around head coach.

I could never take to Michael Stewart. He appears to have a ridiculously high opinion of himself and a very sneery attitude to those he believes are beneath him.

If he'd spoke to me on air the way he did with Steven Thomson we'd be having words.

Fly the Saltire

Levein was a far better player but Stewart is a very articulate pundit and much better to listen to than the old firm fan boys or the Aberdeen  guys that don't give Hearts any credit

MS played with us for about 3 seasons - in 2 spells.

"Played" is very subjective though 😀

Yes, he played in over 100 matches for us.

He played abut 10, shouted, stomped and moaned in the other 90...

That's certainly one opinion. 😄

This is true.

The 2nd half of a game vs. Motherwell in December 2007 leaps to mind. All his passes were stray and they were all the fault of others.

He was only good at pointing and penalties.

Michael Stewart is a great thinker in as much as he thinks he is an intellectual ... compared to John Collins I suppose he is 🤣

Indeed.

He still seems to think we would have stayed up if he had been allowed to continue in the job. He is deluded if he believes that. The team had totally lost it's way under him. The truth is he should have been sacked long before things got that far. Ann Budge was too loyal to him and even she probably realises that now.

Spot on!
