Monday to Friday is fine.

Up at 6.30 and take the dog for a couple miles.

Back for 7, coffee, shower and start work.

Go for a 5k run at lunch time then back working til about 3/3.30.

Spend some time with the wee one.

Dinner.

TV/PS4.

Bed.

The challenge is going to be today and tomorrow given I dont work at weekends. Will likely pick a room in the house each weekend and gut it.

Day 4

Starting to run low on green.

Also online delivery and click collect are rammed.

For messages not green.

Is it wrong to contemplate killing two birds with one stone?

Applying the 2 metre rule off course

Excuse my naivety/ignorance, Jake, but what is ‘green’?

Save the Animals, buy Almond milk.

Almond milk isn't great for the environment either. Almond farming requires a shit-ton of water and pesiticides. Buy oat milk. Great on cereal.

Just gave the laddie his dinner, he asks for a carton of apple juice to go with it. “I forgot to get apple juice. There’s orange juice though” I said.

”Fine” he replies “Does it taste like apple juice though?”

I might end up on the drink tonight!

Need to get back into some sort of order. This is getting a little bit harder. Starting to feel skinny as **** from not training etc.

What's the difference between an apple and an orange?

Have ever seen an apple walk.

Today’s small achievement.

G barre 3rd fret

A barre 5th fret

A couple of strums of each chord for a couple of rounds then double up on that.  Came to me by complete chance but you’ll recognise it for sure.

Had a (virtual) cocktail party via Zoom with the group of students and other teacher I accompanied to Sweden in 2018.

Thought I'd smarten meself up for the occasion so put on a bow tie. And when I say cocktail...I mean Belhaven, though I did kick off proceedings with an appropriate bottle of Corona.

One in Bristol now, one in Inverness and the rest back home.

Good to catch up with 'em all again. A couple of them doing medical stuff but not been called upon yet by local health board.

Matthew Le Tissier

Apparently I’ve been classed as an essential key worker (fill the chilled in asda) so not had a proper day off as of yet.
Got a full week booked off though after Wednesday and all I’ll be doing for that week is Red Dead Redemption, Disney+ and Netflix

I’m getting up / going to bed at the usual times to try to keep to a routine.

Spending a bit of time planning and preparing meals and making a point of setting the table and eating them there instead of slobbing in front of the TV with a tray.

Kind-of turned the spare room into a second sitting room just to see another 4 walls.

Sort-of wish I had a garden to sit in, but live in a flat (no drying green) so no.

8am woke up.

10am practiced some music theory.

12pm watched some telly.

2pm worried myself into a frenzy about what my future holds after all this. I reckon I could well and truly be ****ed.

2:15pm decided I needed to get my mind off it so went a run.

5pm had dinner.

6pm - started worrying again and haven't stopped since. Played some music to try and get my mind off it.

Watched some tell there after.

Having heehaw to do is just making my mind race. Can't stop it unfortunately. Hoping once have settled a bit I can adjust. 😟

Just read this.

How are you getting on?  Things any easier for you?  It’s s***e having few distractions.

Fine man thanks.  Amazing how you adapt to things and it becomes the norm. Have a routine now which is helping. Staying away from the booze as well.  Whilst great at the time it causes me to over think things.

More worried for the future because my living relies on tourism which is something i think is completely screwed for the next six months or so at least.

If thats the case i am not going to waste that time feeling sorry for myself though. Ultimately thousands of folk will be in the same situation. Will use it to try and retrain and give myself more options. Looking at several different courses through codeclan which specialises in training folk in IT.

Glad to hear things are easing a bit for you.

They way things are (and were before this stuff happened) computing is only going to get bigger and bigger.

Slow. If you start with one strum per chord, then two, then four. It’s hard to explain as I don’t read or write music.  You might not get what it is as it’s a piece of classical music but a very common one.

It makes a bit more sense now that you've said its classical. I'm never going to get it though. It sounds like a TV advert for life insurance.
