Tommy Brown
Yes sadly, a RIP thread We all love a bit Country & Western. American country music legend Kenny Rogers has died aged 81. A family representative said he "passed away peacefully at home from natural causes". Rogers topped pop and country charts during the 1970s and 1980s, and won three Grammy awards. Known for ballads including The Gambler, Lucille and Coward Of The County, his career spanned more than six decades. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013 and, that same year, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Country Music Association. A keen businessman, Rogers also led several business ventures over the years, mainly in property and the restaurant sector. In tribute to the legend, let's post your favourites of him. Yeah I know, First Edition had a few great tracks. Psych rock, not usually massively my bag really but Just Dropped In and Ruby were just superb. First heard it in Lebowski, thought who's that by? Kenny Rogers! Really?! And ended up with an album. As said above always seemed a top bloke. Dolly's the same, really great person.
