If we were to get through to the play-off final against Dundee . . . would Berra be allowed to play ?  Dundee have not lost a goal and are unbeaten since Berra joined them.

Is he definitely on loan or do Dundee habe an option to buy him?  All assuming of course we avoid the drop and finish second bottom.

Absolutely true......but not in any of the subsequent five. Simple fact is that Dundee’s form (particularly defensively) has clearly improved since Christophe joined them.

Said on the match thread last night, much as he is too slow to be of any use in defence now we don't half miss his threat at corners.

Brilliant decision to let him go out on loan. Defence has looked rock solid ever since. Never looked back.

Hoping for a play off spot. And a semi final against #ibs still to come. Can this season get any more weird?

WTF happened?

Most players who leave us suddenly become much better in our supporters minds, there are plenty examples.

Berra has found his level.

People need to remember that he was utter shite for us this season and lost us at least 5 games with his mistakes.

Which five games? Damour, Halkett, Pereira and Dikamona are giving him a run for his money ...

Dundee haven’t conceded a goal since he joined them on loan. Facts, not JKB imaginings ...

That's not a fact, they lost a goal in his first game. That makes it one of your imaginings.

Diadora Van Basten

I knew he would do well and would improve any defence he joined.

He struggled with our tactics that have now been binned after we lost a crazy amount of goals in three games.

It was bugger all to do with our tactics, he's not been the same after his injury. It's a lot easier for him now that he's playing against the likes of queen of the south and greenock morton.

Ok, they’ve not conceded a goal in their last 450 mins of football. When did we last  do that?

Hamilton and St Mirren aren’t much better than Scottish Championship level.

If you are shipping goals the first thing you do is get a old experienced centre half to do the basics.

Dundee have improved defensively and we are worse.

Sorry, i don't get it.

We had him, we were shipping goals..

Now you want him back?

I think you're just clutching at straws due to the mess we're still in.

I think he was hung out to dry by our tactics and it was a mistake to let him go.

Yes Berra played, Yes Halkett was captain, yes Halkett scored. Yes, Craig Levein should have been given his jotters.

Not sure why you choose to bring this game up. Berra recently back from injury, playing beside Aaron Hughes for most of the game in what was (justifiably) Hughes’ last significant game for Hearts.

Punting Berra to Dundee leaving us with 2 fit central defenders was a s**** decision.

Ofc it was.

Dropping him would have  made sense.

Punting 1 of 4 central defenders, our only left sided one who was the best in the air on loan was puzzling at best, even more so giving the injury history of the three of them.

I agree with that as well tbh.

Although with Souttar injured  he could be useful now.

Punting him on loan had no benefit to us at all tbh.

I chose it because it was the first thing that came to mind to be honest.

There was many games after that where berra got caught out and cost us goals.
