Either that, or it's stored on a server somewhere else, or possibly a failing disc. I noticed a while ago too. Thought that's what the maintenance was for the other week. Here is a message we received from our technical support after a test of Incognito mode, which showed no signs of poor response time: if Incognito mode is fast and normal mode is slow it's perhaps just a dud cookie of some sort you've picked up. Clearing your cookies/cache might be all you need to do to restore speed to normal mode. To do this: Go to chrome://settings in your browser bar Click Privacy and security on the left Click Clear browsing data Click Basic Set Time Range: All time then tick only Cookies and other site data Cached images and files Click Clear data Close Chrome, open it and give JKB a whirl again. Be warned, doing this will log you out of most sites that have remembered your login. There you have it. Two possible solutions to the problem.
