It’s the daily mail so let’s not get too excited but if this happened to Liverpool it would be utterly sensational and very funny

So, face masks for Saturday yes?

They should be mandatory when either ugly sister visits at any time.

Stop wasting our time.

Mods can you change the title to make clear this is from the Daily Mail?

OP made it sound like it was a news report from a reliable source

It may have originated in the telegraph but the mail still decided it was a big enough pile of scaremongering shite to go ahead and publish.

Pro14 are going to declare 0.0 result in the event any postponed games cant be rescheduled before season end.

Do we want the outbreak here or in Hamilton?

If the virus is spread my contact with carriers then all spectator sports will be affected.  Currently Italy is badly affected but the virus will spread.  China is one big mother...

Containment rather than cure currently.  Hardly at the embers stage of the fire, yet.

As things stand we are relegated.

Would be funny if Dundee United had to stay in the Championship though if null and void. The Shankland thread would need an update.

If it comes to it the SPFL might freeze the league at the point of suspension, which would probably see us relegated and D.Utd promoted.

Just seen a thing on the sports news, Newcastle and West Ham have banned handshakes as a precaution.

Davie Moyes commented “ we’ve told the players no handshakes, just fist bumps....”

More likely.

Need a way to provide teams for Europe as well.

We need to win some games.

If we get above Hamilton no more washing hands.

Not sure about this reaction. Do you think sporting fixtures aren't already being postponed?

Yes I’m sure all football teams would agree to this. Sorry Leeds, you’re going to have to start again and miss out on promotion and £100m and sorry Leicester and Sheffield United, no potential champions league football for you because it’s all null and void. Sorry, lads. Tough luck. Load of shite.

Playing games behind closed doors would make more sense rather than the season being void.

That's what would happen IMO.

Exactly. I'm sure Leeds, Leicester and Sheffield Utd would put their foot down in the event of a nuclear attack as well. The government have to realise that they can't enforce anything without the agreement of the medium to large sized football clubs.

They're gods, aren't they?

I'd imagine there could come a point where gatherings of even 40 or so people could be banned.

Everybody to stay indoors, watching replays of old games. Sounds good, actually.
