Gigs you are going to

I thought The Undertones were the highlight of the day followed by The Stranglers. The Skids were good as usual. Love Jobbo’s drunk boxer training style of dancing! Missed half The Rezillos set queuing to get in.

Very disappointed with the Pistols and Buzzcocks.

Good day out though and the whole event was well organised and laid out. Nice friendly vibe too.

Buzzcocks were terrible. Think they were pished by that time.

Bellahouston was class yesterday. Echo others sentiments on the Buzzcocks though, the only real letdown of the day for me.

Been a big fan of Frank Carter going back to when Gallows released Grey Britain so no surprise to me that he’s owning that spot, highlight of the night for me. Undertones also exceeded my expectations & the Stranglers as always were brilliant.

I went a few times when it was at the ABC in Glasgow. Gave up when it was forced to move to the Academy. The Corn Exchange isn't filling me with joy either.

Hot off the press poster for our (Edinburgh Indiepop Collective) all-dayer in October - only a handful of tickets remaining.

I've only been twice and thought it was decent. At least it's closer to me in edinburgh.

The abc was a far better venue than the Academy.

Also going to this, although I'll probably be too late to catch jasmine.4.t unfortunately. Really looking forward to it, missed Lucy's show at Leith Theatre the other year so will be my first time seeing her solo.

Wee road trip to Middlewich today for this all-dayer tomorrow. It features three of the bands (The Just Joans, The Cords and The Proctors) who will be appearing at our all-dayer in October.

Missing the Dumbarton game for Alice Cooper at the Playhouse. Many of his original band are playing so can't wait to go back to the seventies.

I'm keeping everything crossed that a couple pop up on the day. One (seat) showed up for Cardiff on Twickets about 6-7 hours before the gig on the Saturday for £150 & it took absolutely all my self control to not buy it & drive down then straight back up that night (had something on on Sunday morning)

Got a few over the next 2 months

TRNSMT on Saturday (really can't be arsed with the TRNSMT crowd tbh but Biffy, Fontaines DC & Wunderhorse on the same day was good value for money)

Then next up Kasabian at the Corn Exchange, they were ****ing unbelievable in there last year so I can't wait for that

Then playing Party at the Palace in Linlithgow on the Sunday (wee plug for Deltamanic, if you're going then make some time to come check a small local-ish band out, it'd mean a lot)

Then the big one, Oasis at Murrayfield

& finally Rock n' Roll Circus down in Sheffield - QOTSA headlining, Viagra Boys, Fat Dog & The Bug Club - top class lineup & got Greggs VIP tickets for that whatever the **** that means :rofl:hopefully some free sausage rolls or steak bakes?

As there not a gigs you aren’t going to thread. Sat in the co-op arena tonight to be told the ELO concert was cancelled because Jeff Lynne was ill.

I wonder what happened for Jeff Lynne to cancel just before going on. He broke his hand last week so maybe on mega painkillers.

Make the most of your night in Manchester.

Just grabbing a drink in our room then heading out for a few. Make the most of it.

Heard he had broke his hand. Could well be that.

I was literally walking into the venue when met by a huge crowd of people walking opposite direction.

Thought to myself that unless City are playing then this doesn’t look good 🙁

Piccadilly resembled a Saga night out later on 😀

Never heard of this festival before but at £77 a ticket its probably the best value day out going these days.

That fantastic pricing.

I'm more into rock but we often stick them on in the car driving up north. Should be a good wee date night where our music tastes actually overlap a bit

I hadn’t heard of it either, only got the ticket last week on resale, no clue how I hadn’t seen about it

Biffy were absolutely ****ing tremendous at TRNSMT last night. Was more going for & looking forward to seeing Fontaines but **** me sometimes it’s easy to take a band for granted until they absolutely blow everyone else out the water. When they’re on top form very few bands can touch them as a live act.

Another trip to Glasgow tonight for Cheekface, Martha and Fresh at Saint Luke's. Martha and Fresh are two of the finest UK bands of the the last 10-12 years - just consistently great records and live gigs. Cheekface (from LA) - I hadn't even heard of them until this tour was announced. Should be interesting!

I've been a few times.

I would say the acoustics are pretty good.
