daftie Posted February 26, 2020 Share Posted February 26, 2020 My fave band are The Ramones, saw them 5/6 times in the 80’s. Ive probably got every vinyl,cd they ever did, and live I just love them. Even now, after a crappy day, putting the Ramones on always cheers me up. My best pal was a huge Gary Numan fan and he took me along to a concert in Glasgow and I thought his show was brilliant, a lot more rockier than I thought. I was expecting all synth stuff, but he was way better than I expected. 15/16 years ago I went down to The Cavern Club, as they had a night of Ramones tribute acts, and the special guests were The vibrators. I am gutted I missed an Angelfish reunion a few years ago. Saw the Filthy Tongues at Voodoo Rooms last year. They were great. Should also have mentioned The Skids at The Liquid Rooms last year.
