Even if we take it at face value, buried in the lede is the big presumption though: the “impact of leaving UK’s common market”. There is no reason either country would want to part ways in a market sense, and there's already precedent for a “two countries, no border” situation in the Irish Sea.

Need to drum up the fear though, about Scotland simply wanting to govern itself.

The information in the news story about the LSE report does not state it is four times bigger a hit. From the opening of the Guardian piece on it:

Quote

Scotland’s economy would shrink by at least £11bn a year if it became independent, more than doubling the damaging impacts of Brexit, a team of economists has forecast.

Project Fear has geared up - it's headlines about worst case with no offer of solutions.

It's wholly unrealistic (actually - it's complete madness) to expect a border wall to be built between Scotland and England for trade much like it was ludicrous we were not going to have an agreement with Europe for post Brexit trade.

He does but I think that all stems from being bullied in the Army when he served Britain. He was the fastest spud peeler in the regiment and he got a bit of stick for it. Probably jealousy from the other soldiers but he has never got over it.

Have you ever managed a rational argument on here about politics?

What makes you think you can abuse posters on here who disagree with you?

Have you found any proof that  Corbyn is an antisemite yet?

Corbyn does call Hezbollah friends and gave interviews to Iranian media who deny the Holocaust .

This LSE prediction was based on Scotland trading with England AND the EU purely on WTO terms and projected forwards by twenty or thirty years.

AKA a crock of shite.

Yup. Gary did his job. Something few 'journalists' in the press up here have the balls to do where Boris The Butcher and his ghastly government are concerned.

Just seen a clip of Nicola putting the fat, hackit ex-school bully Mooth Davidson in her place (the gutter) regarding The Army in Scotland's supporting SG throughout the pandemic. 😊

The Scottish Nationalist side of this, is famous for it's first class bullying and nastiness.

And it has inevitably bled into the language and conduct of Scottish nationalists, including the politicians.

IDGAF whether you agree with me or not - BOTH sides are as bad as each other. End.

Not sure why I'm engaging with you, however, when/if independence is achieved, there won't be a need for the  SNP or nationalist politicians - we will have a normal functioning democracy enabled and accountable to the Scottish electorate with a wide range across the political spectrum..
