Surely marry boris so you could make his life a misery like he has millions of us , shag the queen cause she seems she’d still be a goer and kiss churchill cause he’ll be nothing but a skull now and ya could sterilise it first

How has he "made life a misery for millions of us"?

Do tell how he has made your life a misery?

I'm not a fan of his, but statements like this are just daft imo.

Conservative policies have caused a lot of hardships , iv felt it first hand. He is leader of the conservatives and has no interest in sorting the issues such as the ones that have affected me. I’m far from alone hence “misery for millions of us”

Brexit i have no doubt will make it worse but that’s just something to add to his legacy i haven't counted that in my reasoning.

I've just realised ( I think) you mean mental health. And I agree much more needs to be done.

But to blame Brexit/Tories seems a bit of a push. Have the SNP  done enough? Or have Labour done enough when they were in power?

No Party cares about mental health as far as i can see.

SNP are doing their best under the constraints of austerity. Different health and social care agencies have been working hard to become more integrated.

The Scottish Governments 2017 strategy “10 year vision” is well underway. The update in 2018 showed that 13 (out of 40ish) of the plans aims were met or almost met at that point.

a few examples:

£250 million additional investment into mental health services.

Transition from children’s to adult mental health services has a more rigid planning structure so is the best it has ever been.

There’s now a C&YP mental health task force.

Things are by no means perfect but they are improving daily despite budgetary hardships.

No idea of the initiatives in England though!

He was playing kiss, shag or marry mate, I think you might be taking his post a wee bit too seriously.

If you marry the queen you'd get to live in a massive house though. But then you'd need to shag Boris and that's a major health risk considering how many places he has "allegedly" been.

Is he genuinely that ****ing stupid or lacking in self-awareness that he doesn't know he's giving a Benny Hill salute?

Or is he just trolling?

Quite pertinent I thought, or rather, how sad that not much has changed in the 50 years since it was made.

As relevant today with the Bullingdon crowd that are positioned as our betters.

Yes, indeed.  There has been some social movement since 1969, but same old same old at the top.

I despise them.  Really despise them.

I cannot understand how anyone would want that oafish, racist, homophobic, self-interested, narcissist to run the country.

Yep. It screwed his election chances as well.

There's certainly no accounting for people's stupidity.

Also, is there a reason you always put a black background in your quotes?

Yes your right. Of course the Daily Mail and Express see it differently.

Anyone notice someone has dumped a fridge freezer in front of the BBC Breakfast news cameras this morning in one of the flooded English towns?

The reporter could not mention it.

Subtle...I like it

I’m no Boris fan but I don’t understand why he gets a hard time cause he won’t visit a flooded town.
Does he have a magic wand to make the water go away?

If I was an owner of a flooded house and he turned up it would make me feel worse

He's the PM and it would show that he cared(Even tho he doesn't) A bit like Grenfell, where the Queen showed up to support the community, where as The PM at the time showed utter cowardice.

Correct.

A bit of morale support wouldn’t have gone amiss.
