Donis Avdijaj

I thought he did little right individually, however his introduction helped us due to the change of shape.  He stayed wide and occupied a player.  Too many daft fouls though

Cant understand how Anthony McDonald was considered good enough to start at Celtic but not in squad for Accies at home. A player who will offer something different and is clearly a better player than Uche or Avdijad.

Manager in press saying how good a player the boy is, so put him in and stick with him, done it with others of lesser ability.

Also need to change cm's, the lack of pace is killing us, ball moves to slow and they dont drive the game. Time for young zharry to get a shout?

If he’s starts his nonsense v St.Midden & flumps he’s off and we really can’t afford to go down to ten men as the eleven we’ve got are already hopeless.

The jKB regulation 45 mins on a football park & judged to be shite.  Nowt new here eh!

Laughable eh. How many slated Clare but soon did a u-turn when he started finding form. I get the guy only has 6 months to show up, but he's barely in the door ffs

This lad’s football ability remains to be seen however as a professional and someone who wears the shirt of this club he is a disgrace.  To clarify, he was seen today running across the concourse at the back of the main stand coming up to 1.30pm [match day remember] have been dropped off by a mate in a yellow Ford Mustang.

Hardly ideal preparation for the biggest game the club has had seen this season.  I was in the ground FFS before him.  Not good enough in IMHO and why oh why was he not as a 1st team squad member with the other players bonding relaxing and talking through the day ahead.  I really hope Stendal deals with this and brings him to task.  I can just about put up with a sh7’#ty performance however lack of professionalism and pride in the job no way.

He is a worse player than Pereria is a goalkeeper. If that makes sense.

He along with Langer doesn’t give me much hope for Stendels eye for a player

Six month contracts - obviously gambles forced on Stendel by our shit league position and the January window.  Both look shit, mind, but at least he's not chucked a four year contract at either of them.

where is Meshino? So much better than Avdijad. Was late for the game today. Maybe has a part time job in the morning. Joke.

Looked like a competition winner out there. Worrying that Stendel thought he’d be any kind of answer

Yet Another player many on here hype up and get over excited when we sign him

I was wondering about Meshino. He’s not a battler & that’s what we need but that game turned into all out hearts attack & he could have been pretty useful.

He's been poor thus far but I feel its possibly more down to Stendels tactics and maybe lack of fitness. Time will tell if he's any good. At least he's only here for 6 months.

Diadora Van Basten

Typical Hearts signing.

Highly rated when he was younger

hasnt done anything in the last year and a half

completely outplayed by young Scottish player who earns about enough for a pie and a pint on Saturday night

In the late charges against Kilmarnock, Walker showed his value on the right. Now, while the conditions were admittedly poor yesterday,  Avdijaj showed nothing in his 45 minutes, against ten men, to suggest he should be ahead of Meshino. He seemed to expend more energy fouling people, berating the linesman, and clasping his head in mock indignation.

Don’t like to see officials berated, but from where I was in the wheatfield, I think he had a point about the linesman...

Looked the keen, cocky type but seemed bit off the pace, which fed into silly niggly unnecessary, frustrated fouls that he just won’t get away with (partly because he plays for us perhaps?)

tried hard, but the bad choice, bad technique, awful hoof with the last kick of the game summed it up yesterday unfortunately.  But he wasn’t alone there.

hopefully he shows more usefulness soon

Like you, I hope to be proven wrong but, I just do not see him coming to terms with the Scottish game quickly enough to have any impact. He’ll have less space when playing against eleven and fewer men pressing him. Sure he wants to succeed , but keenness alone won’t compensate for the flaws you list. We’d have been better with Meshino on the left and Walker on the right, but the former wasn’t even on the bench, again.

Meshino situation is an odd one I think. Who knows what they see in training. I wonder if stendel feels meshino is a bit too lightweight for the scrap we’re in just now? 🤷‍♀️

Donis certainly seems like he’s not shy of getting stuck in, but I’m not sure at the moment if he’s match sharp enough to do that constructively.  My fear is, he looks like he’ll give his all, but in our league will find himself red carded pretty quickly which obviously wouldn’t help!

To say i’ve got my fingers crossed he comes onto a game quickly is an understatement! We need them to show composure and resilience and fast

Diadora Van Basten

There was a bit in the warm up when he was the only player apart from the sub keeper who hadn’t gone into the changing room. He made a big deal of winding up a free kick then promptly skied it over the net behind the goals.

He put one sumptuous cross in that nobody attacked. Should have been a tap in for someone. Other than that he let himself get too carried away with the moment and too often gave away stupid fouls letting them off the hook.

The only decent cross all day was Washington’s for the goal.

Not so Donis put in a great cross that no player attacked. Right along the "corridor of uncertainty" as it's known.

I recall Rory McIlroy turning up at the tee at Medina for the Ryder Cup with minutes to spare with a police escort. Claimed he’d set his watch for the wrong time zone. Apparently he’d been pursuing a young lady overnight. Not saying Adonis is in the same league as Rory - he’s clearly a bit wild, but got some talent. Nothing to lose over 6 months if Stendel can somehow get him to screw the nut and calm down a bit.

Did he not play at Dingwall and Perth?

I must be thinking of wrong guy.

He played his first game in Dingwall, nothing of note except a one chance opportunity to run onto a great scoring opportunity in the box but he tripped up.........you know when you were a young lad and ran as fast as you could but, for a split second, the top half of your body seemed to be just a bit to far forward for your legs to deal with.......that’s all I remember of him that night.

Remember Paksi? They finished 2nd in the Hungarian league the season before we played them in Europe. They looked Championship level at best.

Jack Torrance

I like him. There's something about him. Tried to play a quick ball at pace. Showed a bit of passion. Narrowly missed scoring at the back post when everyone else in the box was static. Put in a good ball at one point. I reckon he'll come good. Needs a couple of games.

It's too soon to write him off, but he certainly hasn't set the heather on fire so far ... maybe that's because of the rain!

Has only played 90 minutes three times this season, twice in the Turkish Cup and once in a Europa League dead rubber, in Basel. Hard enough to come and play in Scotland  as it is; harder still when you come not having played games all season. Things can but get better for the Kosovan Komet, I hope.

He annoyed me yesterday, almost trying too hard to endear himself to the fans - making silly fouls etc. He was pretty rubbish in all honesty. That said, I agree that he will come good.

Poor man’s Milinkovic.

When Milinkovic came in I felt something would happen when he ran with the ball but not sure with this guy. Not writing him off yet but he needs to concentrate on the ball and not playing to the crowd when he is doing little himself.
