Dsjambo
Very lucky to get a point today and it was only because they had 10 men for most of the game. The team is a shambles and this manager is a clown I’m afraid, we are wide open at the back and have no chance of staying up with him in charge. He was supposed to strengthen the squad in January but apart from Boyce what have the others done?

The goals we conceded today were nothing about the style of play, it was down to simple basic schoolboy errors we seem to make week in week out. Hamilton did not have to break sweat for either goal. The players have clearly had it drilled into them that they should never go long even when the entire backline is under pressure. The result is that Hickey doesn't just hit the ball up the line, instead he turns and plays it back to Zlamal, who is immediately under pressure. But again rather than just clear his lines he tries to pick a pass between two forwards to a midfielder, who is now facing his goal, and again immediately under pressure. We then lose possession and St Mirren score. That is fundamentally down to the manager's awful tactics. If our players were as good as Liverpool maybe we could get away with playing that way but they aren't. Stendel should have realised that by now and adjusted. Every other manager in the league has realised it. Ironically they all know that if they high press us, we will try and play out, make mistakes and concede goals. Not the only issue with Stendel's tactics but a major one. He appears to be totally clueless.

Our defending of the goals was awful whatever system was played. It has been like that for a while but the defence were able to hide behind let's blame Pereira for everything. Clare at RB/Perreira retaining place/Irving, Moore and Henderson playing together. Whyte being allowed to wear maroon. Could go on. Not the gig for him. Starting to look like a one hit top 40 wonder. Gutted!
