Tbf it's a hastily rearranged fixture.

I read today that Rangers asked Livingston yesterday to play the rearranged game today. Livingston refused and suggested Monday night instead given the forecast for today. The SPFL then phoned Livingston to tell them the game would have to be played today. The old firm have got the SPFL in their back pockets. *****

Appeal rejected by SFA. Suspended for final.

They really should be made to publish an explanation of their decision or made to discuss it with journalist/fans

Too much protection for the officials rather than facing up to the truth of poor refereeing decisions

Do that and it would be a major step in the right direction..they won't though for fear of being ridiculed

Manchester City go one up at home to West Ham United..not much of a cheer due to a relatively low attendance

Kilmarnock and Aberdeen still 0-0 in the cup replay

You could maybe, maybe, understand a ref getting it wrong but how can 3 man panel look at that and decide it was the correct decision. What an incredible decision to come to. Utterly ridiculous.

Even the referee was not exactly backing his decision 100%...and his explanation is simply wrong given the footage

"Our appeal was submitted on Monday morning with our payment for the right to appeal and video evidence of 3 different angles of the incident, with the most enlightening angle shown at full speed and also in slow motion.

"The referee also submitted his reply to the appeal and within that, he states that from his angle, he believed there had been no contact made by the defender on James and this led him to believe that James had thrown himself to the ground in an attempt to deceive him, therefore he deemed it to be an act of simulation, hence the decision.

"We do not want to question anyone’s integrity in this statement and therefore if we set what we do or do not believe aside, it could certainly be argued that this position is plausible.

"The video evidence however removes all doubt from the situation and it was this evidence with which we confidently based our case on.

"As far as we were concerned, once the three-man panel viewed the video evidence, coupled with the fact that the referee himself was stating that he only made the decision based on his personal view, albeit that he was only a few yards away and not the vastly superior and different video angles, justice and sporting integrity would surely prevail.

The statement concludes: "This decision has cost our player the chance to play in a national cup final, not something that comes along every week, to the detriment of the player, his team mates, the club and our fans.

That appeal was rejected but the Hamilton handball red card was overturned? Baffling. The Keating's decision was clearly wrong and should absolutely be overturned. The Hamilton handball is a referee interpretation of whether the handball was deliberate and whether the it stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity. There is no way the video evidence was clear enough to prove that the ref got it wrong. I'd be raging if I was ICT.

Foot was high says Willie Miller about the Killie overhead kick goal

the bitter wee man hurtin again

Looking at the photo on the BBC website, I'd say he is right. Aberdeen player (Main?) is visibly recoiling from the scorer's high foot.
