When you then factor in the TV’s involvement and the amount of times dwindles even further. Like you mentioned, we avoided Hibs for years pre Foster. We’ve played hibs in the cup at various stages nearly every second season or so since 2006. If you wanted to be celtic level paranoid, you could argue that that’s because the TV companies want interest in the early rounds and the edinburgh derby fits the bill.
