Which area are you in as I'd imagine speed increases would be done incrementally by area?

Out of interest how do you test your speed properly. I have done a speed test on my mobile phone via the WiFi but I'm not sure If this is accurate? Tazio
My speed appears to be the usual I pay for. Not sure I’d need over 200 mb really.

Hardwired or over wifi and dont get much difference in speeds, maybe 1 or 2mb difference.

Taffin
What do people do that requires those kinds of speeds? I stream 4K content on my TV and only have 20mb/s.

I'd agree with this. My devices are all over the place. My phone is cheap and gets anything between 5mbps to 40mbps over WiFi. My laptop gets around 30mbps through WiFi (it's 6 years old)and my full speed of 80mbps if hard wired. Nintendo switch manages the full 80 over WiFi. Would I be better at gaming online if I had better internet? Not that I can do anything about it, I'm limited on options where I am.

Yeah WiFi is always around 500mb on speedtests and any devices plugged directly into the router get the same. Xbox tested at 700mb once.
