Oh shut up.

He's yet another virtue signalling idiot who takes no responsibility for himself while demanding that everyone else does.

God I could do with losing a few pounds myself but I'm not expecting you to go for a jog to help with this.

Online bullying and discrimination clearly spot on in your book.........

And you call others conspiracy theorists!

😅 Calm your jets Sideshow Bob; I'm just expressing my immense cynicism about anything this Government does given that we know that they are proven liars (case in point today regarding Patel saying she consulted the Police Federation on the right to protest bill and FOI request reveals that was bollocks).
At the very least, it's the height of stupidity not to see how adopting the pilot scheme would play out with the public.
Actually can't remember literally calling people conspiracy theorists but happy to admit people spout a lot of pish on say, things like long covid but that's more bunking off homework than conspiracy theories.

Normally not. But this idiot is trying to make out he is morally superior because he wears a cheap piece of cloth across his face.

Basically like you are trying to do through a forum.

Correct. The sign would've been as well saying 'In Nottingham we eat all the pies'.

Can you supply this evidence please.

I can refer you to radio 4 where a panel of relevant experts discussed it, very interesting, but I was driving so I can't offer any more. Feel free to check though.

Of course, I'm not stating it as fact that long covid = auto immune disease like you did with the Portugal thing, just reporting that there's growing evidence.

Have you done the slightest bit of checking into the Portugal deaths yet or is it just something you pretend you didn't say?

Just incase anyone ever mistakenly attributed even a single iota of common sense and strategy to these chancers that pass for politicians in this country:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9798757/Boris-Johnson-cancels-plans-Churchillian-Freedom-Day-launch.html

"Officials had discussed marking the lifting of Covid restrictions with a rousing speech by the Prime Minister at an historic venue associated with the wartime leader – until scientific advisers took fright at the recent climb in cases".

It's a shame in many ways. Whilst the harking back to the war becomes very tiring in the UK I think we could have done with something rousing like that. Some people definitely need peeled off their sofas with some vigour!

Probably sensible though to not push ahead with it though.

If a propensity to pie eating was a proven factor in an increased probability of pegging it from covid, then surely it would fall under personal responsibility to reduce volume and frequency of pie eating. 🤷‍♂️

I suppose you can't eat pies while you're wearing a face covering,  though, so at least it's a start.

Apologies for my uncouthness! I'd be surprised if this fella reads JKB though.

No, but there will be a fair few who'll look at that picture and think 'do others think of me as a 'porker''?

Not me of course, I'm like a Greek god chiselled from marble but I'm also vehemently pro-overweight people losing weight and taking some responsibility for their health, and calling them names isn't the best way to go about it imo.

Totally agree. If you Google weight discrimination you will see a lot of medical professionals agree.

It's a shame in many ways. Whilst the harking back to the war becomes very tiring in the UK I think we could have done with something rousing like that. Some people definitely need peeled off their sofas with some vigour!

Probably sensible though to not push ahead with it though.

Yes the war analogies are particularly offensive , there was a meme going about last week disparaging the English football players , saying they weren’t “ hero’s “ but military personal are ? A hero can be anyone one any person decides who it is to them surely ? The meme was really anti English rhetoric and  jealousy mostly posted by my Indy supporters on Facebook. . My very woke female friend posted it on Facebook and was adamant it wasn’t anti English . Her reply was the classic “ I can’t be anti English I have friends who are English” she’s really doing my brain in 😂

A bit of an uncouth way to go about it...but given overweight people also spread it more he's got a bit of a brass neck to be virtue signalling.

Very true but I do think there are various reasons why some are overweight but the main one is over eating ! Education on diet health and exercise is the way forward . Personal responsibility too and not taxes on sugar etc

If you're concerned how others perceive you then don't attempt to take the moral high ground over others.

Here you go bud.

It was widely reported, but I tracked it down on an Indian website because I know you put so much trust in them. 😉

Had we not decided that Indian websites could not be trusted? Appreciate that though.  Nice touch. 😂

That's generally an unsound assumption, TMT.

Has the past 18 months taught you nothing? :(

A good point well made Governor ☹

When the UK & Scottish governments reintroduce restrictions in the late autumn I think the tin foil hatters and associated anti maskers could push on to even higher levels of fuddery.

I always tip my titfer to those that strive for excellence.
