These failed medical experiments would probably moan about the lack of ambulances if a member of their families got sick.

If tanning studios close where us all the money laundering going to go?

Won't mention other sectors as we have a few in some of these trades on here.

I know what you mean, John, and agree with much of what you have written, but in order for us to "restore equilibrium" to the planet about 6 billion people would need to die.  Nobody wants that.

It's not up to us MP,  it's up to nature to dictate the terms & conditions. We're in no position to cut deals.

I'm philosophical about this. If Covid-19 (or other) finished me off I really couldn't care. I have no fear of death. I'm also atheist so I have no heaven nor hell as destinities following death.

This planet has given birth to ~107.8 billion humans, of which ~100 billion have died. It can't be that difficult.

Were saying on the news that the rate of infections in Singapore is the highest daily rate yet, 54 in the last 24 hrs, Hong Kong had 38 new infections and China had an increase of 39 and 9 new deaths, South Korea 64 and 7 deaths.

After early hope's that Singapore/Hong Kong et al had got this virus under control, infection rates have been climbing over the last few days, perhaps it's a second wave.

'Opportunist' gang of thieves broke into our local wee post office (also does food and eggs) and stole the safe overnight on Friday (thus closing it for all but the veg and eggs) and also broke into the local care home and stole their safe too - hard to imagine how they can look themselves in the mirror and have any self respect

If there is a lockdown people should still be allowed out to excercise. Took my lad out for a run this morning, small 5k wasn't around anyone and feel fairly good after it. Was going stir shit crazy after only 3 days in the house.

Hoping to **** people just listen to the bloody advice.

The excuses from the idiots will be that the government didn't put us in lockdown quick enough... What part of dont go outside or have people around do people not understand?  If you went socialising with anyone that isn't a member of your household this weekend then I'm afraid you are to blame for what is about to come.

Selfish idiots, I only hope it is them that feels the pain and not some poor bugger that has tried to follow the rules and gets caught up in other people's reckless behaviour.

If you have ignored the advice don't blame the government when you are left gasping for air in the hospital carpark.

in the last 24hours or so iv seen 3 people I know post pics of them and their partner with “self isolating” on it then pics of them out for food then at parties. Parties where you can see the age range is 16-80 , ****ing idiots... Two of them are fairly intelligent , ones a socialite twat whos only worried about her wedding and seshing. These are the ones we should let roam the streets and be able to pick off wi guns like they are zombies.....

Need some advice.

Started working a few weeks ago in a warehouse packing food orders for old people. It's all processed stuff.

Their approach to CV19 I think is negligent. Working in aisles, no distancing, equipment not being wiped down etc

I don't want to go to the bosses as they're pretty aggressive when challenged. Who can I speak to? I thought about the local MP but they are asking for name and address etc. If I do that I'm finished and we need the money. MP will only act if the issue is raised by someone in heir constituency

Yes, we all die eventually. It's unlikely that COVID-19 will provide the cull that's needed to stop climate change and mass species extinction, but it could be the first of many, much worse viruses.

The part where that's not Governement advice.

Folk moan about all those parked cars beside beaches etc over the weekend. The government have said as recently as Boris at 5pm yesterday that they are happy for people to go out and go for walks as long as they follow social distancing rules.

A family driving to a beach for a nice walk on Mothers day is 't a mass organised event. The folk there never called each other up and arranged a beach party.

Provided those folk there exercised good social distancing then whats the problem? Even if they all went to theirs cars at the same time and left together they would probably all be at least 2 meters apart.

I'm not daft, clearly what we seen over the weekend isn't  ideal and it would be silly to assume everyone was 2 meters apart, but when the gov guidance is that kts okay to go out for some fresh air then what do they expect?

They are leaving it up to the park owners and local councils to decide when too many people is too much. No guidance.

The only thing that will.stop this properly is a Lockdown which I think should happen, but I'm not going to have a go at people following the current Gov guidelines.

People moaning about those turning up for trains in London. Daft as well, they need to get to work somehow!

Iv been taking my dog out but wont let her iff her leash unless there is nobody around. If i see anyone im ensuring im far more than 2m apart. I know that may sound hypocritical when talking about idiots all over social media having parties but for now I feel that is safe if done that way. Common sense says if there a lot of people about don’t go. Think someone said they drove past the Kelpies and it was packed with visitors. 🤪

WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!

All he cares about is how the economy is, and only so far as how it affects his reelection chances. He doesn't give a stuff about any other person

Initially they did in Italy, but it was reported that people were abusing it as an excuse to meet up, now I'm not sure you can even walk your dog anymore.

Will the same happen here, guess it depends on how many arseholes abuse it, and if the week-end is anything to go by, then.......................

a british athlete who is in lockdown in italy was on SSN and he said that even if he is going to the supermarket he needs a pass from the police and needs to carry ID. He has permission to visit the italy training HQ (because he is due to go to the olympics) but he says there is only around 15 people there compared to the usual 100+.

Running is one of the things that I reckon will keep me going. Hopefully common sense will prevail and if there is a lock down, sensible application is given. If people are clearly out running or or for excercise then they shouldn't be bothered.

I'll PM you later mate for some workout advice

Problem is, what if one of you were to fall, get injured and need ambulance assistance? It's not necessary and you should stay in as it could potentially cost a life.

It'll be an ending like we have for flu though in that it is a controlled virus, as much as it can be imo.

Nope, not until a cure or a prevention has been found, I was hearing earlier than a woman in Japan has managed to catch this virus twice now, so herd immunity doesn't work either.

It's pretty much died down in China so yeah the pandemic will end soon, Some old or weak people will die but it will be no different to regular flu season when they release the vaccine and the ones at risk die anyway.

It will certainly end if only when enough people have had it and either died or recovered, the latter eventually building community or "herd" immunity.

You would think they would be closer to finding a treatment, especially given the vaccine is months/years away given estimations in media.
