Just heard on radio that they don't have the staff for the Nightengale

Tbh I don't think they have ever had the staff in the first place, as they had to pull staff from various different hospitals to staff them, meaning that an already stretched workforce was stretched even thinner when the Nightingale's first opened.

No point in splashing out on the expensive Champers for Sunday then.

My brother says chemo did the same to him. Saved him a fortune in beer, wine. and tasy grub. Happy shopper, boxes of cheap plonk, and own brand lager all the way. As a backhanded Brucie bonus he didn't need to worry about putting on weight either.

Do you honestly believe governments are deliberately setting out to trash their economy.

BTW I watched my first WWM today and only because my wife wanted to find out if East Lothian was going up to tier 3.

I was bored rigid.

I won't be watching again.

You could try switching off if she annoys you so much.

NS,BJ and the other leaders are genuinely doing what they think is best.

It's easy to criticise which seems to be a National pastime in the UK at the moment.

On the flip side it’s easy to back them when they call for lockdowns if your sitting pretty in a job that doesn’t get affected or your retired.

Fair enough, if I was retired I’d also want the decision on whether I could visit a safe hospitality venue and enjoy a couple of drinks with a nice meal in a place that has invested to be COVID safe. 👍 If you don’t agree with the Scottish governments decisions on here it seems your either painted as a unionist or all your interested in is getting pissed down the pub. I was trying to point out that their is business owners, workers all with families and mortgages who are toiling due to lockdowns/tier system and must be demented that no alternative is ever discussed.

I think there would be quite a gathering at Tynie anyway,  bus or no bus.  Would not surprise me if there's a plan to close Gorgie Road at Ardmillan and Robertson Avenue,  as well as McLeod Street or Russell Road.

Dull yin, bud. That's a strange one though, what with penicillin being an antibiotic and all. Maybe something to do with the manufacturing process.

Maybe seeing that that @doctor jambo has been vaccinated and now has a wifi signal in his underground Fritzl lab' he could come on and clear this one up.

If that is the case then I can't get it. I wouldn't get it anyway as I am not eligible for the first wave.

It is strange as I don't think I am allergic to penicillin but it is in my medical records. So anytime I need antibiotics I get given amoxicillin

You have to remember country traditions run deep, and as we never got to burn the 'deil this year and for some reason the authorities don't like us burning witches anymore, so out of region beer bandits are fair game.

How lockdown are we talking though?

Full on stay in the house, police patrolling the streets, absolutely everything shut down lockdown?

Going by the general mood, not one **** under the age of 60 in my neighbourhood will be having any of that, I can assure you.
