I don't agree with flights resuming at all, a nonsense that people with self isolate for two weeks. Just won't happen and covid will resume apace.

Just saw this on Sky news.

After the furore over Calderwood getting emptied it'll be interesting to see how this plays out with the Tory media.

FWIW he's a **** and I hope his next shit is a porcupine

Nothing on BBC as of yet. Surprisingly.

Actually I think the Ferguson example may be even more pertinent as Matt Hancock stood at the briefing and said it was absolutely right Ferguson resigned for breaking lockdown rules. Going to be awkward to back track from that

Forgot about shagger Ferguson.

Good lad that Cummings is he drove himself and his infected wife to his parents house.

If pensioners die so be it right enough.

Make no mistake without Cummings, Johnson is nothing.

This could be an interesting few days once the Tories client journalists, Peston, Kuenssberg etc, get to work trying to douse the flames.

Boris will stick by him. There was a time when dancing Queen in a garden in Durham would have meant instant dismissal.

Most of the Tory party will be keen to kick the cuckoo out the nest.    Plus the whole of the Whitehall civil service.

Aye .... whats the story about him always showing a photo from the Hobo cup win in the background ?   Didn't he claim a couple of years ago in the HoC that he was just a "simple crofter" ? 😎

The using the toilet rule is absolute nonsense.  I accept not socialising in the house at this phase but someone popping in to use a toilet for a couple of minutes assuming social distancing, hygiene (I.e don’t touch too much stuff, wipe handles down)  and hand washing is observed cannot possibly be more dangerous than touching items in the shops that could have been handled by a dozen other people.

i haven’t knowingly broken any lockdown rules at all but I am ignoring that one where grandparents of my kids are concerned.

Exactly BK. Absolute nonsense.  I really resent politicians talking to us as if we are 5 year olds. People are quite rightly taking the sensible approach and ignoring the rules that are complete and utter nonsense while taking sensible precautions and obeying the sensible rules. If you have to go to the bathroom in your great granny's house, you can wipe the door handle and taps. That should sort the pesky virus out......assuming, of course, that you are one of the 0.2% of the population that actually has the virus. There is every chance that in a few months this thing will no longer be of public health concern.

Anyone else dumbfounded that these 2 (Cummings and Boris) can even stand  being in a room together ?   Nick Watt wrote an interesting article about Cummings a few months ago - he seems to be an oddball anarchist who loathes entitlement  and politicians.  Sounds like he's  a sort of Pied Piper who knows that Boris is totally incompetent and therefore totally dependent on advisers - reminds me a bit about the storyline in Being There where the uneducated simpleton gardener played by Peter Sellers ends up being nominated to succeed the dying President of the USA because his simple utterings get misunderstood by the big-wigs as  being sage financial insight !!!   Superb comedy film .... which foretold the coming of Bush (W)  and Trump .... and probably Boris over here !!   Tragic really.

Think it's a form of megalomania tbh. It eventually affected the top 2 PMs of my lifetime - Thatcher and Blair - and, on a smaller scale, it is also affecting leaders of devolved administrations.

Given I'm one of the very few who wear a mask when shopping in Tesco, forget this face covering nonsense,  I mean a proper medical grade mask, people are flinging the FM a deaf ear.

Already trying to twist the story

He was self isolating so when the police came to his parents house they could not speak to him.....now of course he claims I never was spoken to by the police well doh of course not you idiot

To him there seems to be a difference between him being spoke to directly and the police attending the property to warn him but being unable to discuss it one to one.

Wonder how Boris feels about him now...he announced he had it 27th March and 72 hours later Cummings is in the north east claiming he and his wife had all the symptoms  yet the public was told when Boris caught the virus he did not have the symptoms

Something stinks and sorry Boris he has to go.

He absolutely should resign or be sacked. Like Calderwood and shagger Ferguson,  you have to be consistent.  They all broke the rules that they were imploring the public to follow.

Something far wrong if he is able to survive and would have to lead to even more questions of why he has.

Sky also reporting that Yorkshire NHS trust appears to have falsified a covid test result for an 80 year old, before transferring the patient to a care home. I'm guessing it won't be the only example.

I’m not sure but isn’t he a MP so no power in relation to care homes as they devolved/private responsibilities?

He was ducking appalling on that interview though. Thought Naga made him look a bumbling fool purposely misrepresenting the situation.

Also not a chance Cummings gets sacked or resigns. Even if by some miracle he did he would still be advising through another method.

Does my nut in whenever he is at PMQs virtually the whole chamber ( when it's full ) gets up and leaves when he starts talking and no wonder it's virtually the same question every week.

I'm not sure what's more embarrassing for Dominic Cummings, the fact that he's been shown to be an absolute hypocrite who drove a coach and horses through rules he helped to draw up, or that at age 48 he was seen dancing to Abba in his parents garden.

It is, but a quick deek shows a LOT of equally qualified scientists who disagree with him. He also mentions about 25% are immune now, that's the first I've heard, anyone else know of this?

Even with their herd immunity strategy, a Swedish government study published on Wednesday found only 7.3% of Stockholm inhabitants have had it. (At the end of April)

Blackford has been a disgrace throughout this pandemic. His "we're shut, **** off" tweet shows Scotland at its Parochial best and he's proud to represent that view. The threat from England is a myth peddled regularly from the Nationalist ranks, including NS, and as with all xenophobic scaremongering, its completely false.
