It's official, although it won't happen until next month.

All the best to you Jake (young man) in your venture across the pond. It was not your fault with the situation you found yourself in at Hearts.

So all in all we now find ourselves in the position of having 2 players off the payroll now, sterling stuff.

It's a great bit of business. **** knows where it came from.

Whelan, Daly, Keena, and now Mulraney all gone? There's a pattern emerging there, to be sure.

Great opportunity for the lad. Always seemed a decent sort. Wish him all the best

Good deal. All the best Jake.

Like Craig Wighton, you were never quite good enough to make it at this club. I don't hold any grudges towards you for it, that's football. I find it bizarre that there's people who almost single handedly blame you for the position we're in.

Talking of the MLS Sam Nicholson is still very much at Colorado Rapids.

Someone on here said he had left but they are talking him up looking forward to the new season.

Good luck Jake.  I thought he drastically improved the more he played and I would have liked him to stay and play under Stendel BUT good money for the player and the club. If it helps get one or two in before next week it’s all good.

I can't see that anyone has single handedly blamed him for our current plight. He along with several others are all culpable as they are not good enough for Hearts. One man single handedly to blame is a certain Craig Levein.

Can we get a winger who can cross a ball next please. 2 goals in 52 appearances is poor and I can’t remember him getting many assists either.

But he dipped badly around the change of managers.

Certain key games eg Hamilton away he didn't produce when it mattered.

I was standing at the tunnel when he come out to warm up before the Hibs game with the ear pods Inn. I said to my boy that this was unacceptable and that I would guess he would never pull on a Hearts jersey again.

so one man is singlehandedly to blame and others are culpable? 😎

Must be a specialised legal definition of "blame" and "culpable". :)

Probably. That’s a lot of culpability.  😊

True, everyone else seems to be getting a good few chances though...anyway he’s gone, probably for the best, I thought we had a player in our hands around the end of last season.

Not that it really matter but I really thought that was a fuss about nothing tbh.

Unless he was listening to The Wolfe Tones I would agree.

Great move for him and his family. Even better for us that we are getting him off the wage bill and getting a fee!!!

Levein hasn't been spotted riding around Riccarton in a Dick Turpin costume has he?

Levein overseen the mess we are Inn. So yes he takes the blame for me. He signed  most of the mediocre players that left us at the bottom of the league.

been here before

Never really worked out for him. Wee gig in the MLS and living in Atlanta for a while isnt too shabby. And we've made a few shekels.

Pathetic sums up Mulraneys attitude and effort. I take it that is what you are getting at.

Chances of him ending up at Aberdeen in a few months time?

I don’t think Mulraney has a pathetic attitude or effort, he was a raw, limited footballer.

Any personal opinion to add other than your official statement.

All the best Jake, keep on running.

Cant believe we got money for this waster!. I'm sure his attitude and effort let him down at inverness also.

The kid has an attitude problem and glad he is gone.

Couple of great goals, a decent performance in Scottish cup semi v ICT and that’s about it.

So obviously suffers from a lack of confidence, the more laid back MLS may bring out the best in him.

Fair enough, Robbo seemed to rate him at Inverness, I’m not sure what sort of attitude problem he had and I’m sure a massive club like Atalanta would have known about this while scouting him then signing him.

Kalamazoo Jambo

He has great pace but didn't show enough end product. It's a good move for Mulraney and for Hearts. Good luck to him in the U.S. of A.
