Today’s crystal ball moment

I had a hunch about Moore playing and having a great game on Saturday.  I now have a feeling that Dikamona will be the hero on Wed night.  Drafted in at RB, he’ll play a blinder and get on the scoresheet.

Not a bad shout or I wonder if he will put Souttar to Right back and Dikamona centre.

Lord Beni of Gorgie

As noted with the OP on Saturday, an excellent bit of perception.

However think this unnecessary, the Fabulous 4 are going to rip County to shreds.

Naismith twice, Meshino and Washington, will have us on easy street.

Here’s my prediction.

Start better than we did on Saturday. Naismith to open the scoring. Naismith to add another just before half time. See out the second half comfortably.

Not a prediction but an absolute requirement.

In that case get shot of Joel. Do that and with a new keeper maybe the defence won't get into a panic when the keeper comes out to stop an attack on goal.

It’s wasn’t his fault Airdrie cut us wide open about 3 times on Saturday.

I know everyone is getting used to the new style of play and what’s expected of them in different scenarios but we cannot afford to lose cheap goals in our situation.

If we stay up I’m happy to go into next season with a we’ll out score you no matter what attitude but just now we need a solid base as much as anything (IMO).

Out of interest, when did we last win 2 games in a row?  (with 2 clean sheets)

December 2018. Three wins on the bounce, Hamilton, Hibs and Livi.

This playing out from the back gives me the fear. If we're going to do this against SPFL teams we'll have to be a lot sharper

We scored in the first 10 minutes on Saturday, won me a bucket of cash.

😂 reminds me of the thread last year about the guy on a specific bus, ringing a bell.

If anything this OP is a little bit more sensible and that’s saying something!

Are Smith and Hickey definately out?  Doubt if DS will take a chance on them if they are marginal but I haven't heard they are out.

Regardless, I'm sure we are going to see a fully committed performance away from home.  Breath of fresh air and should lead to a comfortable win.

Bound to be.  And not just the squad.

An integral part of the spine of the team, Craig Gordon behind him and Genero Zeefuik in front, leading the line.

It's a fair point you make.

If only others would champion Zeefuik as well as yourself, we'd be laughing chocolate biscuits.

No chance.  If Dikamona plays RB, Petkov will replace him on the bench.

Here’s my prediction

Pereira

Dikamona

Halkett

Souttar

Garrucio

Irving

Bozanic

Avdijaj

Naismith

Henderson

Washington

subs: Zlamal, Petkov, White, Damour, Moore, Meshino, Uche

Meshino, Moore and Uche to come on for Avdijaj, Naismith and Washington.

When everyone’s fit, I can’t see where Walker fits in.

What the difference between your hunch and your feeling?
