They didn't say they knew it was the case, more a vague thought. There was a little bit of chat about it, but no one claimed to know that was the reason. Now various people seem to be posting it as fact. Ā The decision to extend Doyle's contract was clearly a mistake at the time. No upside for us and lots of downside risk. Quite likely to be another player who is on our books, unwanted.
