Last 10-15 mins a bit of a damp squib, understandable that France started to play with a lot more freedom they had nothing to lose but shame we couldn’t have composure get the 4th try and BP, constantly just kicking it

Hamish Watson is worth gold.

Unless you’re called Garland and you’re selecting a Lions squad.

A good win for Scotland which I would have gladly taken before kick off but a bit frustrating that we just kind of aimlessly kicked away good ball at the end. Any win over the bigger stronger nations is more than welcome though!

Had him as first reserve last time. Close to going.

Jesus Christ that post match reporter is obsessed by the punch and doesn’t want to talk about anything else. There was a whole game to talk about but she doesn’t seem to be interested in that.

Malinga the Swinga

Let's hope they do it against Wales. We are overdue a result against the arrogant Welsh, and it would be great to do it next week.

Could we still win the competition, regardless of how unlikely?

If Italy beat Ireland and England.

Assuming Scotland beat Wales. Ireland need to beat France too.

She said to the French manager at the end - "hard lines"

He just looked totally bemused

Jambo in Japan

Ritchie deservedly Mom but Watson also immense.

Playing against 14 men, you should be fairly confident of winning so not getting the 4th try is a bit frustrating but a win's a win nonetheless. France their own worst enemy.

On paper, Scotland should be able to get a win in Cardiff. In practice.. I'm not sure they will. Will still be looking forward to it!

France v Ireland next weekend has been postponed

Radio Scotland were saying this morning that all remaining 6 nations matches were to be postponed, they now seem to have backed off from that though.

Just found this.

As much as it’ll understandably annoy folk, surely the sensible option is to move all the final matches to October.

there is also the italy ireland game as well as the final ones

This.

Ireland win their two.matches against Italy and France, they could end up uncatchable.

Tough to get 4 try win in Paris.

Then it's down to points difference.

England +15, Ireland +5.

They have to catch 10 points diffence on England.

If we beat Wales, we'll be top of the table after the fifth round.

I'll take that!

And then a world record period top of table

Pretty unbelievable that the game between Wales and Scotland is still currently going ahead tomorrow.

And the cup final between Sale Sharks v Harlequins, which we've got tickets for and intend to go to.

Should've been more convincing but a win is a win. I still worry about the decision making on the pitch though. Hogg and Russell are too maverick to be making penalty calls - It was Townsend's main weakness as a player too...

Townsend's biggest weakness as a player wasn't decision making

Decent win today . Not many errors - onwards/upwards

I though Mcinally changed the game when he came on at hooker, great result

He's a great player. Scotland beginning to show some strength in depth.

It kind of was as very few of his teammates were on the same wavelength...He was called mercurial because of this! It is also why he played most of his international career at centre rather than Stand off...

One of our more successful tournaments in recent years. There’s a good team there, assembled from a relatively shallow pool.

I’ve no idea if we can kick on from here, but the last three competitive fixtures we’ve lost (Ireland, England and Japan in WC) were all lost by exactly 7 points.

I’ve no time for glorious failure, but that should be encouraging. Small margins.

3 wins in a row for the first time in 24 years.  The other 2 games were close as well.  First win away to a good team in ages.  Generally the team is performing nearer to the levels of the good teams.
