Salah.  Some goal.  Against the run of play too.

Great goal. Disagree it was against the run of play though. Liverpool have had 70% possession!

Suppose, but otherwise all the chances were Watford’s.

Yeah,  they've had some incredible misses in this game 😯

This application of the offside rule is utter bollocks, but the rule is the rule. A shite state of affairs though. Your armpit hair is slightly over the line...

If it’s that tight it should stand.

Anyway, I thought your arms couldn’t be offside?

I’m sure it’s the case that if players are level the advantage goes to the attacking player.

It was his hip not his arms.

It should really be daylight between defender and attacker, or a clear and obvious advantage gained from the attackers position or something like that. But things like that one, so tight that the attackers position was not a clear advantage, and can't be seen with the naked eye, shouldn't be offside.

Var, entirely a consequence of tv football, and an absolute pox on the game.

Absolutely.

Imo it’s spoiling the game.

VAR is killing the game as an entertainment spectacle with decisions like that. The Watford player's foot was playing him onside but because his body is curved slightly for the header his hip makes him offside. Honestly it's a nonsense.

I agree. It's getting to the point where we're getting less goals despite there being no unfair advantage for the striker.

Fans can't even celebrate a goal anymore without worrying about VAR kicking in.

Mo Salah is a class player. Quiet character and goes about his business in a professional manner. Another two superbly taken goals today.

Celtic 2 Hibs 0, last time I looked.

The tiniest crumb of comfort but better than nothing.

I suppose.

Thought hibs team looked quite attacking but haven't managed a shot on target.

0 shots on target sounds familiar. A terrible stat after 90 mins of football.

Fraser Forster had to make a save but from his own player. Presumably does count as "on target".

Felt for moises kean  earlier, 18 mins after coming on he’s subbed off by Ferguson. Disappointed to see that Ferguson didn’t even acknowledge him as he walked off the pitch. Only 19 and in a foreign country, shame for the lad.

I like the idea of clear daylight between them. Might create a bit more controversy but seems very petty at the moment and not really in the spirit of the game.

According to the BBC Hibs showed sign of attacking intent and are much improved.

Shots - Celtic 21 Hibs 4

On target - Celtic 5 Hibs 0

Man Utd supporters voting with their feet.  13,000 posted missing today.

9,000 also missing at Newcastle's last home game.

Watched a wee bit of him at Hyde Park on telly last night.

Embarrassed for the silly bugger. Swear I could hear his bones creaking as he tried to move about like it was 1972.

Very Celticky too. Crest on the drum kit, loads of "taps" and scarves in the crowd...and all for an Englishmen, with a Leith born dad, who used to support Scotland and with, it seems, previous leaning towards Rangers.

Feck off Rod, indeed.

Came with so much hype.  Was doomed to fail.
