Cycling through the winter - how to stay warm?

  Someone has too, never any cyclists in them.

Love nothing better than watching all these law abiding cyclists run a couple of red lights, then when I get ahead of them again, deliberately sitting in the box. Rather than running their third consecutive red light, they can’t resist stopping and gesturing or banging on your window, to tell you that you are stopped in their box 😂🤣

But if they were running red lights, they wouldn’t need to be in the box. 🤔

I cycle 7 miles each way to a from work and the last couple of mornings on the bike, about 4:30am, my beard started to ice up  absolutely baltic but once you get going you soon warm up.

So a guy asks a question about how to keep warmer cycling and suddenly it's a car v cycle debate .... pathetic.

It's not a debate about cars v cycles. Cyclists are pricks and need reminded at every opportunity.

Come on Herbert, not all cyclists are law breaking pricks, just 99.9% of them.

Not bad compared to 100% of taxi drivers.

Ive seen a clown on Lanark Road with a camera on his helmet as big as the helmet (cycling helmet) and a tshirt  telling everyone he has a camera  on his helmet - there are no words - he also cycles in the middle of the road obviously

Had a know it all cyclist knock on my doors not long ago to tell me i shouldn't be in the cycle box. What he failed to take into account was the lights changed as i approached them and that a bus doesn't stop on a dime. He took a note of my bus number, strangely I've not heard anything about it.

Sometimes this has to be done due to the state of the roads. One of the streets I need to go down is crumbling and falling to bits and has potholes all over the place near the kerb. I put in a complaint about it via the council website over 3 years ago. Still **** all done about it.

Shocking state of affairs. If only there was a way to put this camera technology into cars I bet loads of drivers would have then.

Im thinking a sort of camera that would go on the dashboard or somewhere. God knows what we could call it.

Incidently I saw a car swerving about a road the other day. Its like he was avoiding pot holes or trying to avoid the general shit state of the roads- there are no words-obviously.

You won't either. We have the bully now 😡

Cyclists should have to put a number plate on. They get away with road rage all the time.

I’ve got a windscreen watcher fitted, just a little too late to catch the four balloons who have hit my vehicle costing hundreds of pounds of damage and never coughed up a single penny. Maybe I’ll start driving artics instead :devil2:

Must admit, from the odd trips I make back to Edinburgh, I'm not sure I would want to cycle round the place. The roads are an utter disgrace. It's like being a developing country.

Get one of those cabs with a big space behind the seats where you can keep your porny mags and hitchhikers.

I wear fishermens socks on the motorbike. They're brilliant. I've also worn rubber gloves under my regular motorbike gloves.

Porny mags are in the front glove box with my pet mouse. As for the hitchhikers, no need for a big space

What?

You get rid of them while they're still warm and not yet full?
