And there you have it.

Re your pre-editet post...

Cheers, Steven I suspect. He will have have been pushing to be picked. His international career I would hope would have been brought up by us during contract negotiations.

He should have knocked it over the bar or lifted it towards the far side.

Where ever he was trying to clear it to,  it was amateurish.

Don't see how this takes any credit away from the striker though,  it was indeed a great goal.

On that we are agreed.

True, Danny.

I did forget, due to him having been on holiday.  :)

Hopefully he’s fine. Looked ok going off and hasn’t went away down the tunnel.

Sounds like he’s ok.

Fingers crossed.

Unlikely seeing as he’s captain.

He did indeed come off as I said. Doesn’t matter if he is captain he has had very few games and should be looked after in the best way possible to keep him injury free. This is a glorified friendly after all.

Decided it's not worth having a dig at Clarke.

Just hope he's twinged something & has walked off as a precaution.

Can **** the Kazakhstan game off now. Hopefully not the Kilmarnock one.

He looked to be in pain when he went down, not sure if he was just trying to sell it for the stoppage.

I know what I’d be putting my money on with our injury history though.

Beg yer puddin’?

I'm just trying to find what team I can support rather than Scotland if Naismith gets injured.  It was a joke about him missing hearts games and blaming Scotland.  Ffs

Good decision to let him go on international duty 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nobody let him go, we can't stop him. He is only at our club so he can continue to play for his country. Our club will never stop players playing for their country

Dundee Utd having to play a league game without their best player today.  Would prefer us to go back to the old days where we didn’t have an international break, the team just had to deal with the absences.  Would stop this ridiculous congestion of midweek games in Dec and Feb. We benefited massively from this in 85/86 I recall.

Doing okay 1-0 up. Appere in for Shankland.

The way he stayed down after the injury didn't look good tbh .

Think he could be out again.

Don’t think it was his hamstring, could have been a recurrence of the other injury though.

He isn’t injured I don’t think. Precautionary coming off surely.

Last time he was taken off as a precaution he was out for nearly 3 months.

What do you mean? Do you mean he only plays club football so he can play international football or do you mean he wouldn’t get a game for Scotland if he played for another club?

Looked like his knee to me , don't like the way he initially crumbled and stayed down like he knew he was done . Add that to the quick substitution and it's a worry .

Hopefully not

Don't normally like players retiring early from the national team but I think Naismith has to now.  If you are only going to be fit enough to play about 10 games a season then they should all be for Hearts.

You’ll not be saying that if he’s out long term again.
