Who has Definitely Applied for Manager or SD?

Sorry, being a bit lazy here but can we have a thread for who is actually confirmed as having applied for either the Manager or Sporting Director roles?

Felix Magathe (unconfimed)

Probably Shabba (for both roles)

Imo a SD should be appointed first.

And his remit should be to identify the next manager .

McPhee to hold the position in the meantime.

Bit more patience needed .

Absolutely no one knows on here, but the speculation, rumors and plain fabrications are getting the usual aneurysm crew in a right state.

Where’s the wind up?

No one is ITK and there are several threads of folks getting in a tizzy over “rumors” and fairy tales. No wind up here chief...

Only definite is, we could appoint literally any human being on the planet and somebody would find something negative to say!

Hoping that we get someone like Joe Savage from PNE.

Not a manager as Sporting Director, completely different box of frogs.

Supposedly decent but seems to use the same agents time and time again, which usually doesn’t work out well

Purely on the names floating about:

MacPhee

McCann

Weir

Adkins

Alexander

Freedman

Magath

Holloway

McCall

I assume Hartley and Pressley will probably have applied too.

Its all redundant until a Sporting director is appointed though.

Out of all these guys I’d be interested in Graham Alexander to be honest.

He’s done good jobs at every club. He’s  young, yet experienced, he’s respected, he’s a leader and he can’t have had much in the way of the same quality or finances we have.

A manager maybe on the up and hasn’t yet had the big opportunity to have a go at a bigger club.

Not sure he fits into the “experienced” category.

This the same Graham Alexander that was sacked at Fleetwood, sacked at Scunthorpe United and currently has Salford City 11th in League Two? That guy? Salford had the resources to take Rooney from Aberdeen, then pay him a reported £4K per week, so the finance point is clearly nonsense! Interested to know what Alexander has done to put him ahead of the the likes of Warnock, Cotterill & Freedman?

I’ve stated my reasons above and my reasons for not wanting the others. Alexander wouldn’t be my first choice, clearly but he’s done more in his managerial career than Dougie Freedman who’s never been offered a job anywhere.

Warnock = old as ****, hoofball

Cotterill = Wrist slitting enthusiasm.

Maybe Ann Budge could send us an hourly update on who has applied....who is being interviewed and who isn’t .

Or....

Maybe we just wait and see how things unfold  instead of getting upset over the dozen or so names being banded about on here and the media.

Wrong again re Freedman. You really need to do some research before posting.

Would be amazed if that's not just media speculation but would certainly fit the "high profile" category

I think the interviews should be broadcast live on jkb.

Daily Record saying that Jack Ross has been interviewed along with others. Where Sven's name has come from I have no idea, seems a bit random to just be made up rumours. Would be interesting as he must have some links in the game with the career and jobs he has held. Warnock putting his name forward as well. As much as I quite like him I think we need to be looking longer term and appoint someone a bit younger to take the role on for a few years.

Happily have the guy as SD, not as manager.

Your search for a suitable Hearts candidate, from the Bavarian Alpine League, is quite impressive in fairness.

All the dross getting interviewed first out of courtesy

More likely the first interviews are the most likely. Once she finds her man she can tell the rest to save their petrol.

Felix is the man I think would satisfy CTs German fetish☺
