Thanks got your concern 😘

Your “ramjet” comment is garbage. Paul Hartley doesn’t get the same stick from Hearts fans and he wore a “Tim” strip!

The difference was Hartley got on with playing the game without the infantile antics of Pressley!

It's hilarious that grown adults are still raging about this, grow up ffs.

Here's one though, if he'd rocked up at Tynie and committed these atrocities in, say, a Falkirk strip, would you have been so offended?

Actually, I'll answer that one for you, would you **** 👍

He actually got a referee to change a no penalty decision to a penalty against Falkirk when he played for them.

Hearts went out the cup no way would I want him at Tynie. he is a w-----.

Such hatred.

Does that really still bother you? Get over it man, for your own sake.

Hearts fans hate Celtic worse than Falkirk?

I’m intrigued now.

What's your stance on Pressley-gate?

Bothered me at the time. Still don’t like him.

Loved him as player and skipper. No need for him to go out of his way to wind up the fans on his return.

But you've let it go now, that's good.

If only the few others on here would do the same.

I think everyone is over it. Doesn’t mean they have kind words for him.

Hard to be worse than a loser.

Levein, to my knowledge, has never relegated a club after boldly claiming there was no chance they'd be relegated.

I could be wrong.

William H. Bonney

Could you imagine if he was manager. Every hearts related thread would end up getting locked, just as all Pressley threads do too.

At least Pressley won something at Hearts.

As a footballer, not as a manager.

He's been sacked from how many jobs now?

It's such a shame how Elvis fell from grace, he was a huge player and captain, a genuinely great figure in our history.

I don't feel the hate myself but I do get it, and it's exactly because he was such a big figure for us that the betrayal cut so deeply for many. It's sad that it ended that way.

I agree with that, he was a great player for HMFC, we got his best years.

But he was the one who decided to burn the bridges.

The answer is YES!

Don’t judge others by your own low standards!

Whatever Shomato, I hope one day you can let it go.

Pressley's just another in your giant Hearts hate list.

It's funny when people think it's just about Celtic when, in reality, Paul Hartley was treated with the utmost respect any time he played for Celtic at Tynecastle.

I don’t “hate” anybody but I can only think of two on this fictitious “giant list” of yours perhaps Levein and Pressley. Care to name others on this list of yours? 🤔

A point I made and ignored. Hartley treated Hearts fans with respect and Hearts fans treated Hartley with respect - and still do.

It’s as simple as that.

So do I.

I remember that day against Celtic at Tynie, I remember the seethe afterwards and thought it was quite amusing. Said on here many times over the years that Pressley did make a bit of a fud of himself but in no way did he disrespect the Hearts fans that day. He went to the Celtic fans who, let's not forget, hated him even being there as an ex-Rangers and Hearts player and his mis-guided behaviour actually made im look more foolish than anything else. I was over it by the time i'd got to the car at the end of the match. Whether Romanov was there or not, it was still a get-it-up-ye gesture to him one way or another. He would've been told about it and Pressley didn't go near Hearts fans or even look in their general direction. If it wasn't for him, Hartley and Gordon we might not've known what was starting to go on at the time. Also, he came back and played as a substitute in a friendly that had a selection of Cup-winning players from 1998 against 2006, don't remember him being booed that loudly, mostly clapping in fact. He got lucky when he went to Celtic and probably never ever dreamed he'd get that sort of money at that stage of his career, far less a couple of extra medals. Sure he didn't lose any sleep and had a very healthy bank balance to look back on.

As for him as manager….absolutely no way! He's been a disaster everywhere he's went. No more looking back, let's look ahead and hope that Ann makes the correct appointment.

Sounds about how I took it on the day as well.

I have this vague recollection that Strachan made him captain that day as well. Ridiculously inflammatory move imo

I notice that you’re quite new here and are absolutely not a reincarnation of a previous poster.

Were you not really into forums, messageboards and the like, before you joined here?

Explained that one already. Why are you interested in who posts on anonymous forum? Why do you think that’s any of your business?
