Don’t know why but have visions of Kenny Black with Astro trainers playing on a frozen Tynie. Obviously an 80s match.

Must be a pic somewhere ❄️

Not at Tynecastle Park but at Fir Park in 1986, I remember the police cleared the Shed for some reason then when they gave the all clear everyone piled onto the park for a set two with the Saturday Service.

Kenny Black with the Nike Division and Robbo scoring.

Hearts v Rangers Scottish Cup Tie, no snow but a very hard frost, all players wore the Nike Division.

Great game, lots of incidents and goals.

Colin McAdam with the winner.

Bombscare. Not Kenny Black, the reason for evacuation. There was an old fella who refused to move from the covered terracing iirc.   Also remember the game at Dens in Jan 84 when we all left the open terrace to flee the snow and headed into the Dundee end.

Nice. My first standing spot as a wee 5 year old was directly above the right hand entrance/exit. Right against the railing. Me standing on the middle rail and my Dad directly behind me.

There was  big guy with a posh loud  voice who used to watch from the same area, his surname was Low and he was a bit of a character, he always called Jim Cruickshank crankshaft. This was when JC was reserve to Gordon Marshall and just before he became our regular goalie. Do you remember him?
