He’ll retire. He already said he was retiring at the end of the season. No danger is he coming to us.

An article a few months ago quotes him as saying he would love a crack at the Old Firm up in Scotland, wouldn't rule out SD tbh

But effective though. He's got a great track record for getting teams firing again.

Effective football over pretty football any day.

Wenger is old but not what you would call a dinosaur in football terms, He'd still very much want to play attractive attacking football.

You can be both, though. Unlike Warnock’s sides where you’re wanting to hack your neck off with a blunt spoon 90% of the time.

I think this is probably the truth of the matter. He is 70 years old now, he isn't going to take Cardiff back to the top division, he has a place through in the Clyde Valley somewhere and I suspect he and his Mrs will be more content to move up there now and begin to enjoy retired life. Someone similar to him but 10-20 years younger would fit the bill, someone who at their Tynecastle  interview answers the question "What do you think of the OF" with the words "Feck them" will do just perfectly.

You can but it's not going to happen overnight. Even if Warnock was taking the job, it'd be on a relatively short term basis. Get him in now, get the results in order, and then perhaps bring someone else in for pre-season.

I don’t particularly want Warnock as manager but what does someone’s age have to do with their ability to be our manager?

Both Warnock and Magath have had their day in the sun.A last hurrah to top up their pension and maybe upping sticks when things go awry is far from ideal. I want a young head coach who is on the way up with high energy levels and something to prove.

In at 6/1 sky bet 😂

I can guarantee if we picked a manager’s name created a 10 page thread about it, they’d go into the betting at 5/1

Just left Cardiff. On his way north?

He is on his way north, just not as far north as Edinburgh.  He's taking over from Pep after he lost his shite yesterday.

As for him coming to us. No, just no.
