Austin MacPhee 1/1
Steve Robinson 4/1
Jack Ross 5/1
Roy Keane 5/1
David Moyes 10/1

Nigel Adkins 16/1
Daniel Stendel 20/1
Gary Holt 20/1
Gary Naysmith 20/1
John Robertson 20/1
Mark Hughes 20/1
Neil McCann 20/1
Paul Hartley 20/1
Robbie Neilson 20/1

You have to say, for the most part that list is depressing as ****.

The EEN said there had been strong interest from England and Europe so let's just hope some sort of surprise is in there.

Fully prepared for a 'the best candidate was here all along' piss take though.

Doubt it

Who knows ?

They might not get the man they are after or have to wait until the end of the season so MacPhee gets it til then.

It won’t be Austin.. Ann knows if she picks Austin and he loses 2/3 games we will be on the brink of civil war again. He’s perceived to be part of the problem, and I think he is part of the problem

Is he also part of the problem at Northern Ireland?

While managers usually do best to bring their own team in , it's not easy to be sure whether assistants are really bad or good until you test them in the top jobs

I hope he doesn't get it , but I'd give him the same support as anyone else and not prejudge him on Levein's track record alone if he does.

bookies rarely wrong.

hope this is the exception. For everyone’s sake

The bookies don’t know anything except how much money has been put on each candidate. Also, I doubt all that many people are putting money on who the next Hearts manager will be, so a few bets might make quite a difference.

Also not a surprise who makes the list, given that people are more likely to put money on a name they know.

I would be tempted to suspend the interview process until the New Year after today’s performance/result.
Was against the bottom of the League but a dramatic turnaround in virtually everything in a positive way makes you think?

Wouldn’t go that far. Budge doesn’t do knee jerk. Let’s say McPhee goes on a 6 game win streak then we could perhaps postpone the interview process.

North Berwick Jambo

So nobody of note spotted in the main stand watching today then?

It wasn’t though, first half was poor but because they are rubbish we managed to score. Second half was better.

He’s in a different country speaking to AB hence why she wasn’t there 😉

On business or holiday?

She's meant to be on holiday but who goes to Portugal with that kind of bank account?

No but I was in my seat in the Wheatfield.

Don't think we should read too much into the odds. I can't imagine there are more than a handful of people actually putting bets on this and Moyes seems to still be on the list even though he's ruled himself out.

There's an inappropriate McCann/Portuguese joke in here somewhere!

Other than his playing career I didn’t know much about him till I looked him up. Certainly looks to have some good experience for the role and must have some great contacts.

Big guy, looks like he would make a decent Steward TBF.

I have a friend who is a football agent in England . But it is just a rumour.

Mc Clair was at SFA, but quit because the job wasn't what he was told. MMcKay replaced him. Don't know where he is now.
