If going with Stendel, the negotiation timeline is better starting from the point he was freed from his contract. Also ties in with Ann's original time frame of 4-6 weeks. Putting 2 and 2 together it's almost like she wanted Stendel from the off, but knew his contract with Barnsley would need to be dealt with.
