Haringey Borough

Mentioned this in the score update thread but thought it deserved a thread of its own.

Haringey Borough players walked off the pitch during their FA cup tie against Yeovil after their goalkeeper was racially abused by a small section of the Yeovil towns support.

The game was then abandoned.

Will be very interesting to see how the English FA deal with this.

There are so many people throughout the world who shouldn’t be allowed out in public.

What is wrong with people?

I’d be worried if I were Yeovil. After all the publicity surrounding the events of the England v Bulgaria game, all eyes will be on the FA to see how they deal with it.

They may decide to make an example of them.

Happens at pretty much all non league grounds in England.

England the land of the racist.

Scotland the land of the bigot.

Out with the brooms and blame everyone else.

Waiting to see the precedent.

Imagine players walking off during a game in Scotland due to sectarian abuse. Wonder how the SPFL would react.

Plenty examples of racism at non league Football in England if you care enough to look.

Seen it plenty times myself.

Plenty bigots in Scotland and I've been called a few choice expletives myself for wearing a Maroon scarf.

Wind yer neck in laddo.

I think he is rightly  referring to the utter bollocks part of your post when you said “happens at pretty much all non league grounds in England”

I've never heard a peep of racism at my local non league ground.

Fat people and ginger haired people seem to be the preferred targets for abuse.

With embarrassment.  And a huge fine against the team that walked off to set an example of them.

Because I watch Football at Non League Grounds, the actual story in the OP being the giveaway or are you thinking it's an isolated incident.

It'll become the new cheat in football. Claim abuse , walk off and claim a 3-0 victory.

Yes but which ones? I too follow non league games in England and haven’t heard of this happening - not in the national league north anyway.
