The people who don't rate him and/or think he's just pure strength  you are the reason we don't deserve proper footballers.

Uche is great for us. Another underrated player who won't be fully appreciated until he leaves and tears it up in the Championship or something.

Our own fans slagging Uche is an absurd thing.

The fact he gets so unfairly treated by refs up here is also absurd but typical of Scottish Football officialdom.

Really hope he stays. But can see that he could well get disalusioned.

The lad is only 24.   Has ruined tierney at tynie, dragged us through a derby win and into was immesnse v aberdeen.

Yes he has areas to work on but i will be gutted if he leaves.  Just getting back to full fitness and starting to last 90mins.

Only down side to uche is when he is stuck up top on his own with long balls launched at him, whixh happens alot at our club.  get balls on the deck going into wide spaces and he is a great player

Looks like Uche has gone down in few estimations.  He certainly lacks skill and looks like desperate dan but he is full of enthusiasm, gives everything for the club and he upsets defences with his aggressive approach. A pity a few more don’t make the same effort as he does.

He actually does look like him. 👌

No one tries harder.

Agree with this, has his faults, but his enthusiasm and energy, especially with dodgy refs is great.  If other members of the team/squad showed the same attitude we’d be in a better place.

Didn't look fit earlier in the season, missed a fair bit of preseason with injury.  Was starting to get up to speed in the games v Hibs and Aberdeen, then another wee set back.

Can be very effective when the ball is played into his feet and when he has support upfront.  We don't do either of these things enough.

The refs would treat him differently if he played for the soap dodgers

Exactly this. if he played for either of those two, defenders wouldn't dare foul him like they do now, and he would therefore get more opportunities and score more goals.

If Uche played for another SPFL team Hearts supporters would be desperate for him to sign.

That is a fact.

Is it ****, it's an opinion. Fact.

No, it is a fact. I for one would want us to sign Uche if he was playing for another SPFL team, and it sounds like Noah would too. I'd bet my Granny's teeth that there are other Hearts supporters who would as well.

That makes Noah's statement a FACT. Fact.

Uche is really effective if we would just utilise him correctly. Berra punting the ball up to him isn't going to do that. We need to play the ball up to him through the midfield and let him hold the ball up and bring our midfield/ wide players into the game.

Until we start to do that we're going to be left wanting with Uche.

I feel sorry for the big man.

When the ball’s played to his feet/chest he’s the best in the business at keeping it. Aimlessly launching long balls to his head and he’s a man short. Why is it it’s only the fans that can see this?

Spot on 👍

I really hope our other players look at him and Glenn Whelan as role models. The were both outstanding today. Berra also.

Clare and Mulraney should be looking at the effort these guys put in!!

He was massively out of shape at the start of the season. When he came on at Cowdenbeath the man boobs were bouncing.

he is fully fit now and looks the part again. Will be massive for us in coming months.

Yeah it's time this team showed everyone of us they have the balls to play for Hearts they did today now follow it up with a win against Livingston and St johnstone.

Show the same fight and determination you did today and we will beat these teams no problem.

Yup, felt a lot of people writing him off earlier in the season was missing how lacking in match fitness he was. Now up to speed he is what we  need. One of the players who is willing to grab the game and try and force something.

Great performance from the big man today, he looks fit and his running with the ball was good and also looked to lay the ball off early. And to think some on here wrote him off as a huddy.

Outstanding from him today, it was like

watching the Uche we saw in both home games v Celtic last year again. As well as him being much fitter than earlier in the season, Clancy actually that part of the game well today and didn’t Unfairly give fouls against Uche every time he won the ball which a lot of refs have done, he even gave a couple of fouls in Uche’s favour!

Agreed. Clancy although throwing yellow cards about like confetti refereed Uche very fairly today, the first ref in a long time to notice what Uche has to put up with week in week out.

Yes he fouls, but he is fouled a hell of a lot too.

At one point he stretched above waist hight to bring a ball down, i was convinced that was amother hammy pinging but no, the big guy never flinched

One of his best performances for me, love the big guy....when he stayed down in the second half (for 20seconds), I was concerned!

The big man always gives his all, others in the team could learn the lesson, if you at least try ( you may have an off day) but the supporters can recognise the effort is there.

Real test for Uche is to repeat today’s performance at Livingston and Perth rather than just preserving his body for Hampden. Let’s see what happens.

His first touch when bringing the ball down whilst under pressure was exceptional

I was working today but happy to hear this, some have said he lacks basic skill but he really doesnt, he's capable of some real quality moments.

Earlier in the season , when he was clearly getting back to match fitness , his touch in the first half was awful but , as the game progressed , he got better . Even in that game (against?) at his worst he caused problems .

The lack of real support for our players , when they are obviously bursting a gut to do well , is shameful
